Disappointed with this coffe shop - Edit
Had an hazelnut latte with oatmilk and it was way too sweet. Also, I think service could be improved. We felt pressured to order right away even though there weren’t too many people.

Vegan options - Edit
Clearly labelled vegan cookie, cjar and vegetable milk (paying an extra 30 Turkish lira) Nice spot and comfy outside area on the centre. We had two coffees and the choco cake that was okay, a bit dry but appreciate the vegan option. Expensive as everything else. 3€ each coffee and 5€ cake

Nice food offer/ cute cafè. Dry savory pie - Edit
I had a very nice hazelnut latte with oat milk, but my spinach pie was very dry (wouldn’t recommend getting it). My friends got the cookie & chocolate cake and they tasted better though😄

Cute café - Edit
Great for sitting down for a snack after visiting the touristic sites, they had vegan börek with spinach & potato, both very tasty, and a chocolate cake, which was too chewy for my taste. Prices are a bit expensive, but presentation was gorgeous!

Friendly service, yummy food - Edit
Saw they have plant milk and food options were clearly labelled.
Read moreThey had a vegan cookie, vegan cake and 2 pastries (1 spinach, 1 potato) on the day I went. I had the 2 pastries and they were lovely. Omni husband enjoyed too.
Lady at the counter was very smiley and lovely, I loved the brightly coloured chairs and tables. Decent price
Pros: Friendly service, Clearly labelled vegan options, Tasted great

They fed me a moldy vegan cookie - Edit
The woman who bagged my cookie seemed surreptitiously unfriendly. The two women at Maya Corner Cafe had the audacity to serve me a moldy vegan cookie for 160 TL. I have surgery tomorrow and am concerned of food poisoning now. I'm filing a credit card dispute.

I wanted to like it so much - Edit
It’s a no from me. Prices are ok for a vegan place, has variety too. The cookie was tasty until in one bite I found an ant moving in between the crumbs. I only tried the place once, so maybe it’s just a coincidence.

Located in the touristy area so it is expensive but really good. I loved sitting outside people watching. I had the chocolate cake and an iced latte which I enjoyed.

A MUST-GO BEFORE THE HAGIA SOPHIA - Edit
While the shops on the left and right pressured me to buy something, it was the shop owner here who didn’t push at all—on the contrary, she almost ignored you in a charming way, with a smile and kindness.
Read moreThe coffee was great, the desserts (I tried a lemon cheesecake) excellent. I was only disturbed by a furry four-legged friend who tried to steal the delicious cheesecake from my plate—hahaha! But I love cats, so all good!
Awesome place, I’ll gladly come back next time. Especially before the usual tours of Hagia Sophia and Topkapi Palace, it’s worth stopping by here for a little caffeine boost.
Pros: Atmosphere, Colours, Drinks and Desserts

Out of vegan cake :-( - Edit
I went at about 10:30 and she was out of all of the vegan options. I ended up trying the pomegranate juice, which was good but nothing amazing. But the lady was super friendly!

Honestly, not just the taste but the PRICE. This is the only cafe in the historical peninsula that you won’t get scammed. Perfect vegan cake and cookie. Plant based milk options are available too!

It's just what you need as a vegan in this touristy area - Edit
It is a bit overpriced but the service is nice and to be honest, as a vegan it's hard to find a treat in this area. So it's just what you need, even if you have to pay a bit more. And they had 2 types of vegan cake and a vegan cookie, so what's there not to like.

Cute little cafe offering almond or oat for dairy free milks. They do sell a vegan cake (amongst other, non-vegan cake) but sadly they had sold out!
