We ordered takeout and were so happy we came across Mexhico! The food was so delicious and fresh. We ordered the guacamole, loaded fries, tacos Al pastor, fish tacos and gringa. I would say the gringa and Al pastor tacos were my favourite!! So tasty! I also bought some items from the small retail section they have in the restaurant as well! The staff was very friendly!

The food is authentic and super tasty! The presentation is amazing, the portions are very generous, and the restaurant vibe is phenomenal! I definitely recommend trying the barbacoa; it’s delicious!

I had the tacos El pastor and they did not disappoint! I could live off of Mexican food and the entire menu is vegan! I've also tried the chkn enchiladas which were also delicious.

I went way back in September 2021. I don't remember exactly what I ordered I believe it was some sort of wrap with chicken-like bits. I just remember it didn't have much flavour other than being extremely salty.

We were so happy to find this little gem, an all vegan Mexican restaurant. The portions are large and food is deliciously flavoured. Vegan “Barbacoa” tacos, “chicken” enchiladas, Salty mango margarita - they were all delicious. Service was quick and attentive. Can’t wait to go back!

Had the most amazing meal here while visiting Barrie. The staff was friendly and we loved everything we tried. I had the ch’ckn fajitas which were flavourful, saucy, and delicious. My daughter was thrilled that her meal was served in a dinosaur. 10/10, would recommend and eat here again!

I really wanted to love the food from here, but I wasn't crazy about it. I ordered the Ch'kn Enchiladas, and boyfriend ordered the Stuffed Burger. Everything was beautifully made, fresh, flavourful, but we just weren't crazy about the specific flavours, and the food didn't travel well (we live in Muskoka and dine-in eating wasn't happening at the time due to Covid - no fault of the business). The texture of the "ch'kn" didn't really do it for me either, I am not sure what they use for it.

We had high hopes for this restaurant and they somehow managed to still go above and beyond! It was a lovely environment and people were so incredibly welcoming. The food was sublime and portion sizes were big. We will definitely be coming back soon!

🥰I love the food here! And the people are so nice and friendly. 🤗 Lots of great choices on the menu, so you’re never bored with the same old thing. 🌮The tacos are amazing, and so are the nachos (with the best guacamole!) Be sure to check out the little grocery section - lots of cool items. 🥐 The croissants are fantastic to take home and bake yourself - the whole house smells divine and they really are the best croissants anywhere! 😋 Highly recommend on all accounts!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Only great things to say about this place. The food, freshness, the environment/vibes, cleanliness, service, wait times... all amazing. I was very impressed and everything was decently priced as well! Mexican is my favourite cuisine and it was so nice to not have to worry about veganising anything and just getting everything I wanted. We drove from 2 1/2 hours away for my boyfriend’s and I’s anniversary as we’ve been really wanting to try since they opened and we will gladly make the trip again any chance we get. Also, the table beside us had no idea everything was vegan and were very surprised to hear so when they were paying and also thought it was delicious soooo... Go here!

Biggest Portion of Nachos - Edit
Okay. So, no idea if the chefs were heavy handed when they plated but these Nachos were bigger than I am. They could have easily fed four or more as a meal. My leftovers were too big for the largest takeout container. They were delicious, but WOW.

We ate here today for the first time. It was very good!! The spicy hibiscus margarita was delicious. We really enjoyed the food as well. We both had the burger because we were craving burgers and fries. Everyone else in the restaurant seemed to really enjoy their dishes as well. Really cool vibe in the restaurant as well!!

The restaurant is clean, cute, and safely laid out for physical distancing.
Our waitress was delightful, and very informative about the menu. Her recommendations were perfect for us as we were starving!
I don't know about you, but I've never been able to go to Mexico without indulging in a Pina colada, or several, and I recommend you enjoy one while drooling over all the options offered in MEXHICO's menu.
We started with the MEXHICO Loaded Fries with Barbacoa. Yummy! They are loaded with the perfect combination of heat, flavors, and a portion generous enough to feed two... or one professional large portion competition eater, lol. Something I've thought about, since I've been known to put the groceries away, lol.
Oops! Back to the review, lol.
I had the Chikn Flautas.
It was a delicious combination of spices, and crunch like the Mexican hard shell tacos, rolled and deep fried. Served with a Mexican rice and refried beans.
Yes, I ate the whole serving myself, lol.
My husband had MEXHICO's Stuffed Burger, and he was pleasantly surprised by the unique and delicious Mexican inspired flavor. Even the fries that accompany the burger are deliciously seasoned.
We had the Churros for dessert. They are accompanied with a chocolate sauce that makes these little morsels absolutely scrumptious!
We were happy to meet the owners of this delicious little Mexican inspired jewel, and share how pleased we were with everything we had, and gave them fair warning that we would be back soon.
We confirmed they also offer takeout, which is perfect when we are passing through, and can grab a healthy, delicious Plant Based Mexican meal for dinner.
My husband and I enthusiastically recommend MEXHICO Restaurant, and rate it 5/5.
