Quaint little spot for some yummy food. Drink options (non-alcoholic) were also quite delightful! Not a ton of "fake meat" options but just enough and they mix together an assortment of mushrooms and vegetables with such variety and thought..it makes for a pleasant experience
Read moreWe did question whether or not they were open as during the day the outside is not very well lit and this time of year the outdoor seating isn't being utilized. I would definitely recommend this place! If you go and question if they're open just try the door - I did and it worked out beautifully!

Even though I like to keep it simple when it comes to sushi, I still enjoyed this place. If you like loaded sushi with a ton of ingredients, you will love Sushi Momo and Kokomo. Service is really fast.

If you gave these sushis to any japanese person, they'd probably laugh in your face. Sushis are supposed to shine by their simplicity and the quality of their few ingredients. At Komomo, every roll is so complex and layered with ingredients that sometimes have no place in a sushi (pesto????) that you loose sight of what you're eating.
Read moreWith that being said, you have to appreciate the effort and the thought that went into this menu. Plus, for a westerner like me that grew up eating prepackaged sushis from fast-food joints, they are exactly what I need to satisfy a craving.
The price is perfectly adequate too when you see how many people are needed in that kitchen (i counted 7!!!)

I wasn't able to get a table for dine-in at Sushi Momo (they were fully booked!), but luckily they have a takeout counter next door called Komomo. I'd definitely rate it 5 stars. Everything was so artfully presented (even from a takeout box lol) and luscious. Prices are reasonable. If you get a combo (appetizers + sushi + dessert), it comes to 25-30$ per person. Brownie points because all their containers are recyclable and compostable - woohoo!

The sushis are as good as at Sushi Momo. I just prefer to eat directly at Sushi Momo, because there are a lot of containers you need to throw afterwards (compost, garbage or recycling), but the quality is the same.

My partner and I ordered 5 rolls, each one was delicious. I like spice, so I loved the Patate-jalapeno. The Popeye, with yuzu-truffle sauce was complex and extremely satisfying. Also had the 3 Champions, Chimi Masamune and Kobe Roll.
