Excellent! - Edit
Have been here loads and it's always good but omg everything we ate today was divine. Had the baja tofish tacos to start, the "spicy one" burger (absolutely beautiful, nduja was gorgeous and the "hot honey" was amazing, made the burger sweet and spicy and the seitan was amazing) and then had the s'more donut to finish. CANNOT recommend that highly enough. Only thing I got a photo of. The photo doesn't do it justice, the most gorgeous dessert I've had in ages! Yum! Really friendly service too!

It’s okay - Edit
I’ve been several times and as much as I want to love it I always leave feeling it could have been a bit better. I always seem to prefer Stereo. It also feels like the price is quite high for the portion size, particularly they are a bit stingy on the chips which it wouldn’t take much to up the portion quantity. Most recently I had the satay bowl which I was a little disappointed with.

Beautiful food, cool setting and lovely staff - Edit
I had two starters instead of a main as couldn't choose. The tofish tacos and haggis potatoes were to die for (and the portions were generous).

Excellent food - Edit
Having just arrived in Scotland, I searched high and low online for some mac and cheese as it is my favorite food. Glad that I found the menu for Mono. I wish I had extra stomachs because the menu looks so good. We tried the Spicy Sausage pizza, the mini mac and cheese and the To-fish & chips with mushy peas (because why not?) Everything was excellent. All the flavors and textures were great. I cannot wait to go again.
Read moreNote: We arrived on a Friday at 12pm when they opened. I noticed some reviews say that the service is slower and I could say that was correct but if you go there when you are not rushed, you won't be disappointed. When we wanted to leave, we just went to the counter and paid our bill.

This is a chill, relaxed place with outstanding food and friendly staff.
Read moreAs a vegan visiting Scotland for the first time, I took a huge mental leap by ordering the ‘haggis burger’. Not sure and don’t want to find out how close it is to actual haggis. But the vegan version was tasty and filling!

Fish & Chips! - Edit
Finally found a place that has good vegan fish and chips, and loads of other great dishes (vegan Mac & Cheese for example). Great food, nice people, fine beers and overall a good place that has a killer record shop integrated as well, and they also host live gigs in here quite often. If you only have time to visit one place in Glasgow, let it be Mono!

Amazing food - Edit
Amazing food - definitely will return. Service was quite slow so don't come if you're in a huge rush (waited 45 minutes for the bill, eventually had to go up to the bar and ask to pay there instead🤣) and the portion sizes are a bit on the smaller side for the price - but that's just city pricing I suppose. Definitely worth it though as the food was amazing, pizza crunch was just how I remembered them being and the mac and cheese was warm and comforting - in house seitan really lovely too!

Try EVERYTHING - Edit
Really diverse menu, everything was cooked to perfection and incredibly flavorful, excellent service, and really fun venue. If you’re from out of town, try the local classic the “pizza crunch” for some deep fried goodness!

Delicious food - Edit
We sat on the terrace and after getting the menus we had to order inside, at the bar. There are great nice options to choose from, I went with the to-fish and chips, as not to skip this traditional meal. It was great, got a taste of the ice cream as well, definitely recommend

UPDATE 1/8/24:
Returned and service is as diabolical as it used to be. If you keep your expectations for that low, you’ll be fine. Food is delicious.

Awesome - Edit
I had lunch here before attending an event. I had a hard time deciding what to eat since the menu had a lot of great options. Eventually, I went with the tofish and chips. It was delicious, but I still had space left for dessert and tried out all of their sorbet flavours. All in all so so good, the space was spacious and a vinyl shop was integrated into it. It's also next to some really cool vintage shops. This is the best restaurant I've tried out in Glasgow so far.

A little disappointed - Edit
Expectations were high when I dropped in for a small meal - both from what I'd heard and from having previously visited Stereo. Had the tofish tacos, which were totally decent, and some chips, which were soft and tasteless. I suspect it deserves a second chance, though, and it may get one, because there are many tempting items on the menu.
