delightful & delicious ♥️ - Edit
we got an in-depth description of everything available from the lovely person at the counter, and it was nearly impossible to choose! we went back the next day to try even more. 😅 the pain au brownie was next level, and all of the savories were amazing. 🤩 we also brought three additional pastries to a friend’s house to split 3 ways, and we loved all of them. absolutely worth a visit!!

Mediocre pastries - Edit
When i first went there, it was nice to be able to get vegan pastries. Cookies were always a bit weird, kinda scratchy, hard to explain. Brownies were really good though. I feel the options available get boring real quick and the pastries have diminished in standards for some reason. I wish they would venture out in French patisserie like slices of cake, something different anyways like the other vegan bakeries in Glasgow. Staff in the back always look a bit grumpy. People who work in the front are nice enough but can take too much time talking to customers. The place could do well if it spiced things up a bit.
Read morePros: Brownies are always great , Nice decor, Wee quiet spot in town
Cons: Staff could improve, More variety would be nice, Maybe try having a loyalty card

Best Vegan Pastries - Edit
Everything I've tried here has been incredible. The chilli sausage and cheeze croissant is a favorite for a savory pastry, but their sweet selection is amazing too. You simply can't go wrong with any choice! I've also gotten a box of pre-ordered pastries for a gathering and they were such a hit! Everyone is super friendly here, and it's well worth stopping by while in Glasgow.

The best pastries you will ever have - Edit
Located in trongate, DorkyFrench bakery offers a variety of delicious vegan pastries ranging from your traditional French pastries to sweet/savoury pastries with a twist. We have both been regularly going here for the last few years and after trying everything they have offered, we can confidently say they are some of the best pastries we will ever try.
Read moreThe staff are always extremely friendly and enjoy a nice chat too. If you live near Glasgow or are visiting the city, we'd highly recommend a visit if you can.
A heads up for anyone who has never been before but on some days they can sell out pretty quickly so the earlier you get there the better!

A Fully Vegan Bakery — And So Tasty! - Edit
This is an adorable little bakery with so many pastry options and delicious coffees. I went at 1 PM and there was still a full selection of everything. These are the best croissants that I’ve ever had, including in Paris.
Read moreI got two savory pastries—Chilli “Sausage” & Cheeze Croissant and Not Ham & Cheeze Croissant—both flaky and delicious.
I also got 3 sweet pastries—Pain Au Chocolat (I’ve never had one of these, and this was too sweet for me, but the flaky croissant was divine), Almond Croissant, and the Apple Turnover. All absolutely delicious.
My Oat Milk Latte was flavorful and foamy, and the service was friendly and quick.
They are only open Thursday through Sunday, so I’m lucky to be in Glasgow on the days that they are open. There was no one inside when I arrived at 1 PM, but within just a few minutes there were six people waiting. It’s very small, so take-away is the best option, and they don’t take cash.
Highly recommend! 😁🥐💚

Always like to visit this place when coming into Glasgow. They have a really nice selection of sweet and savoury pastries and great coffee as well. When we arrived there were several police officers eating pastries outside, one of them said it was the best croissant he'd ever had!

Best bakery ever - Edit
A take out bakery with a couple of benches at the front If you want to eat nearby. We had breakfast here in 2 mornings as close to premier inn and sooo much nicer! The croissants were great with ham and cheese, mushroom and cheese and sausage and cheese options. Then loads of sweet danish and pain au chocolat options. They do hot drinks too. So fresh and so delicious, if there was one nearer home I would be here every day!

French vegan bakery, what else do you need to know?? - Edit
Even though I went to DorkyFrench vegan bakery a couple times, and bought several items, I feel like I could/should have gone/bought more. Everything was excellent and really did deliver on a vegan patisserie style experience.
Read moreYou can't go wrong with any of the options here--I enjoyed a hazelnut croissant, sausage/cheese croissant, pistachio filled roll, creme brulee danish, and apple turnover. Everything was AMAZING.
