AMAZING FOOD!

There was a variety of options. I'm not sure if it's vegan but vegetarian for sure. The food tasted Amazing, beyond amazing! Exactly like home-cooked meal. The desserts were so good! Generous quantity and I loved dining with the rama nama songs/chants. This defines HEARTY MEAL.

Great food and cakes

The soya rendang was delicious and the cakes has all so far been great too. Cakes are a bit pricey but it’s still worth it as they’ve got great variety and their location is perfectly located in Brickfields.

Such a good experience

We loved our meal at Nadia Vege Cafe!
First of all, it is very easy to find. On Jalan Tun Sambanthan, look out for the Nadia Dental Clinic - the cafe is located in the same building at a side entrance.
Once inside and seated, we told the waitress that we wanted a vegan meal. It was lunchtime and only the thali and three Malaysian dishes, including Nasi Lemak, were available, and we chose the thali.
The chef (and owner?) came to us and checked back with us that we were vegan and ensured us that she would cook a completely vegan meal for us. She brought it to us after a short time and explained every part of the thali to us.
The food was truly delicious and rich in variety!
Apparently, vegan meals are not marked on the menu, but if you talk to the staff, it is not a problem at all to have a vegan meal here. We felt so welcome and it was great to see that they really understand veganism and do not see it as an inconvenience.

Cons: Still it is easier if vegan food is on the menu

Safe place for trying out Indian and Malaysian vegan foods

Upon entering around 2.30PM a Sunday, the place was quite packed. A good sign considering the number of restaurant in that area.

The menu did not provide any information about vegan dishes... but the waiter knew exactly what being vegan means and told me which dishes I could safely order. I chose the Soya Ocean Nasi Lemak. It was served about 5 minutes later, which, considering how crowded the restaurant was, seemed really fast to me (but the again, maybe everyone had already received their order).

I'm not a Nasi Lemak conoisseur, but I definitely enjoyed my food.

Finally, upon paying the bill, I had a nice conversation with some of the staff (or the owner?) and they told me the menu was planned to be updated with vegan related information.

A very positive experience. I'll be back.

Pros: Very good service, Cheap food, Quite comfortable
