Food didnt have much taste, but a lot of black pepper, which was odd for vietnamese dishes. We had fried rice, fried spring rolls and some noodle dish. Non of them came close to the rest of our 3 week trip around Vietnam.

Read moreIn Vietnam we use pepper for many local dishes, so nothing special about using black pepper in some dishes, like in our homemade tofu sausages for banh mi. But fair enough that you didn’t enjoy our food. We aim for the doing our best and make everything from scratch without adding any chemicals or additives like MSG which is very common in Asia. Hope you enjoyed the rest of your trip.

Down an alley way on the left hand side. Delicious vegan versions of the food you want to try when you visit Vietnam with less hustle and bustle outside than normal. Food is incredible. Homemade kombucha. Wontons, spring rolls, specialty Pho, and Banh Mi. There’s Vietnamese coffee with condensed coconut milk so you don’t feel like you’ve missed out on traditional Vietnamese yums. Also ice creams and beer.

The food is good but as regular customers we like to sit at tables side by side if they are not busy. Tonight we went in and it is literally empty, not a single customer. But we were told to sit at one table. I totally understand if they are busy and need the tables but there is no one else. We are regular enough customers for the owner to know how we prefer to sit so they’ve lost 2 regular customers for the sake of not having to wipe an extra table which is about 2’x2’ and would take a good 10 seconds to wipe.
Read more3 main dishes per day and a range of side dishes so the menu is not extensive but the quality is excellent. It’s a very clean and has a pleasant ambience. Located right in centre of district 1 in what was previously the backpacker area so it’s very handy for anyone staying round Bui Vien. Definitely worth a visit if you’re nearby.

The food is so good, very small menu but everything done so well. The vegan banh mi is one of the best I've had in Vietnam. They are also super welcoming, I ended up stopping by most days I was in the city.

We had the rice-set and noodle-set. Both was good but not outstanding, there is some room for improvement in seasoning. The passionfruit kombucha was delicious! The coconut ice with peanuts was okay. Springrolls were great and the dippingsauce with garlic was awesome!!

We only came for a drink, so no other choice than to go for the veganized Vietnamese coffee with soy condensed milk, and a cappuccino.
