How can a restaurant be good if their closing all of their location???? - Edit
I think Veggie Grill is good, (or I used to think that) The 1 star is not for the food, it's because they closed their locations (SFV) and I'd like to still patronize the restaurants but in Veggie Grills infinite wisdom has chosen to close every single Veggie Grill restaurant in the West San Fernando Valley (CA) which makes no sense. So even when I'm in LA and I'm looking for a vegan restaurant and a Veggie Grill is close, I have refused to go there. Whoever decided to close all the Veggie Grills in the LA Valley is an idiot and should be FIRED! I've written many emails to Veggie Grills corporate office to express my disapproval with their location decisions and I'll say it again... VEGGIE GRILL,,,YOU SUCK!!!!
Read moreYou don't have to be in a multi-million-dollar mall, (which no one goes to anyway but even when Veggie Grill was in the outdoor mall (The Village) there were always people in the restaurant. You could have rented the building / space across the street from the mall which had a restaurant that closed if you wanted to save money. You don't always have to be in a $$$ millions dollar overrated mall which no one visits to have a successful restaurant. You have good cooks, but you have morons working for you in your location department.
Pros: good food, good options, menu items change with new good items
Cons: Corporate idiots are closed their locations (SFV), Corporate MORONS are closed their locations (SFV), a little pricey sometimes

ok SO i really didn’t like the tempeh bacon on the burger hut that might be a personal opinion. i’m also not rly a fan of the fries eeee and the carrot cake was dry so that made me sad. but the burgers themselves and the chicken and beef are sooooo good! i also was a big fan of the truffle mac and cheese YAY

year 2023 autumn been getting their teeth-challenged elder easy to swallow treats: hot/warm Lentil soup and cooL strawberry shakes. they had a deal $5 credit for each $25 gift certificate purchased; so i did 3.

Pros: no booze. indoors vs weather. public access TVs , ALL VEGAN ! includes soups for teeth-challenged., no smoking/drugs/booze allowed public food courts.
Cons: i just wish it was on 2nd floor closer to TVs..., ...so i could point to it and ask rich students to, ...treat their wise elder teacher to vegan soup!

I was really happy with my lunch here. Hadn’t been to veggie grill in ages (they keep closing!) so was pleasantly surprised by the menu options. My friend and I shared a couple of burgers which were great, also tried the Buffalo tenders which were pretty good. Nothing revolutionary here but it’s great to see a vegan option for students and for fast food I thought this was really tasty!

So .. it was okay. Many options which is great, but the food just wasn’t that good. I had Mac n cheese, chips and queso, and the regular burger. Burger was pretty good. The queso wasn’t great, it didn’t taste right. And it seemed and tasted like the queso was the same cheese that was in the macaroni. Not my fave, but it would be fine if I needed food
