Perfect in every aspect. - Edit
I wonder why this place is not “top rated”.
Read moreFood, atmosphere, service, cleanliness, everything was perfect.
Steak was to die for, so was Lasagna.
I would happily go there again during my visit, even if there are so many other vegan eateries in Prague!

Very pretty restaurant lovely service and food! - Edit
Really pretty inside with lights and greenery around making it feel lovely and cosy. Food was very tasty. I got the meatball sandwich which was a lot more filling than I expected, I didn’t need the fries although they were also tasty! The mayo was soooo good

Stayed at the hotel this restaurant is part of and really enjoyed starting the day with their vegan breakfast. The omelette was nicely filled, a generous portion, and looked very appealing. Had a quick service and the interior felt relaxed.

Absolutely Incredible Food, Blown Away! - Edit
The depth of Palo Verde is unbelievable. They make an incredible vegan steak, vegan chicken, matcha, coffee, wine, cheesecake, everything. Crazy diverse menu with almost nothing below a 5/5. Insanely impressed and came multiple times!

Exceptional dinner - Edit
I came here for dinner and thought it was exceptional. Everything on the menu is plant based, and the outdoor seating out the back was really peaceful and initiate.
Read moreI opted for a few tapas dishes instead of a main dish, and was extremely impressed.
I couldn't recommend this place more, and they apparently also serve breakfast for the adjoining hotel. I don't know if the two are linked in some way.
Pros: Croquetas, Meatballs, Outside seating

Tasty food, so-so staff - Edit
Been here twice. The food is super tasty (as in many other places in Prague), but the staff seems kinda uninterested, scrolls on their phone while guests wait and the server spilled the matcha drink when they put it in on the table (and didn't look or notice).

This is a great breakfast/lunch/dining/cafe place with lots of meal options, warm atmosphere, wonderful service and lovely staff. You may need to reserve a spot for dinner at the inside garden. The prices are slightly expensive, portions are satisfactory. Overall, it is worth trying.

Great cake and fries, terrible meatballs - Edit
06/25 - my first visit back here in about a year and it was disappointing. I got the meatball sandwich and everything about it was underwhelming. The meatballs were like a fake meat from 10 or more years ago, I expect better these days. The focaccia was flimsy and got far too soggy from the marinara sauce. The sauce was fine but could've been richer or had some herbs in it. There was a small patch of cheese sauce which had no impact at all. On the plus side, the seasoned fries were excellent and the lotus cheesecake is still great. On this visit, I'm bringing my rating down to 3* but I'll still go back at some point, especially now that they've got kimchi on their chicken burger again!
Read more04/24 - I've been a regular visitor at Palo Verde for years. Right now, the menu isn't as good as it used to be. In the past I might have given it 5* but I'll stick with 4*.
On my most recent visit I had the chicken burger. It was a good tasty chicken burger but they weren't attempting to do anything interesting with it. It was just topped with lettuce, mayo, tomato and pickles. The previous chicken burger used to be topped with kimchi so it was a bit more exciting. The good news is that the current chicken burger comes on an actual plate, the old one used to be served on quite a small board.
I was incredibly disappointed when my jalapeno poppers arrived and they were just cold pickled jalapenos stuffed with a cream cheese. I know this is my own fault, I should've read the menu more carefully but if I see the words jalapeno poppers I am expecting it to be coated and fried. They were perfectly fine but just nor what I had expected.
The dessert selection is always good and I normally go for one from the lotus cheesecake, Tiramisu cake or the kremes. The slight downside of the kremes is that the pastry top is never crispy but the cream and custard combination is great.
I'm not really in a rush to go back. I've historically enjoyed the pastas so maybe I'll go and get a mushroom tortellini on my next visit. The breakfast menu has also taken a bit of a step backwards with the chocolate waffles being replaced with blueberry waffles.
