Great flavours and Great service but more vegan options would be great - Edit
22/1/2023 I’ve been here quite a few times and I even had my work farewell lunch here last year which was great. Tonight we started with the zucchini flowers which were amazing and we had 2 flowers each. We had the panzanella of tomatoes and fennel and peppers which I really enjoyed. The main was a bit more soupy but I really liked the flavour and we shared the roasted potatoes which I enjoyed. Their sweets menu has changed and I had the cannoli which was light and tasty. I really wanted the crème brûlée but that wasn’t vegan. I think when you can can make so many items vegan, it’s a shame all their desserts at least aren’t vegan. But still a lovely place to eat and meet friends which feels a bit special
Read moreThe dishes are 50% vegan and 50% vegetarian. I really liked the look of the restaurant. Nicely spread out and visually appealing. It was nice not to have to consult barnivore during the meal knowing all the wines were vegan. We were able to taste the wine as well before committing which was lovely. My friend and I shared 1 dish each from each of the menu options starting with the bread. I really liked the flavour of the bread. It had such a nice flavour for something relatively simple. Then we shared the chickpea and potato dumplings. We told them we were sharing and they cut it in half which was kind. I liked the flavour of the dumplings. Then we had the polenta and eggplant. This was my dish of the night. I really enjoyed the sauce and the walnuts too. We also had the shared of the kipfer potatoes. They were in a smoked oil and the flavour was smoked and the potatoes had a great consistency. We then shared the chocolate sorbet. The coffee flavouring really made this dish something special. Lovely service, and the right timing and just a lovely ambiance.
I also had a gin martini which was strong and served in a lovely glass.
It isn’t a cheap meal but it was money well spent. I really liked it and enjoyed the experience

Overpriced and somewhat unsatisfying - Edit
Disclaimer: I haven't tried the wines, only the food.
Read moreCame here for dinner one night after reading good reviews and left somewhat bemused. The service was adequate but not particularly helpful or friendly, and the menu was mostly cheesy concoctions with a few vegan options. Of these, my partner had the barley type dish and I had the eggplant polenta. The former was... not great and the latter had interesting flavours but the polenta was a bit gluey in texture. Overall an unsatisfying experience that we won't be repeating, which is a shame.
Pros: A few interesting vegan options
Cons: Expensive, Some vegan dishes didn't taste great, Not actually that many vegan dishes

Exceptional - Edit
For a special occasion, or just because, Patsy's is the perfect place to enjoy some good wines, company and food.
Read moreWe enjoyed an early dinner on a Saturday night and were pleased to find parking out the front. We'd not made a booking but were told they would need the table in about two hours.
We had the almond crumbed olives with pickles, and the polenta with a side of kipler potatoes. My partner also had the other items photographed, the empanada and rhubarb/custard dessert which are not vegan. Everything was exceptional, including the presentation.
The vibe is relaxed but stylish, with ambient music playing and a tastefully decorated space in a beautiful old building.
Service was attentive, although I did have to defend them trying to take my drink a few times as I savoured my last sips. The menu is only half vegan, which I found disappointing.
Overall, a great addition to the vegetarian dining scene, refocussing on the joy of eating out with a good drink selection.
