Delicious food - Edit
Ate here recently with a non vegan friend and she also found it to be delicious. I had the dragon rolls and the Caesar salad, both so yummy. I added the vegan steak to my salad and it was amazing, I’ve always to try it and it lived up to the hype. We also shared the cookie and sticky toffee for desert and both amazing.

I’m full. - Edit
On a related note, I’m still full.
Read moreAlso, we ordered the dishes to share with another couple.
I will NOT be sharing the broccoli in the future. Get your own. Don’t make me hurt you.
Hands off my broccoli.
Sticky toffee pudding on the dessert menu called my name, but broccoli had my heart and I would not order dessert again. It was fine but several of the appetizers/sushi were superior.
Great meal. My non-vegan wife said it was her favorite vegan meal ever? So there is that?

Pros: I’m full. , Broccoli. , Did I mention broccoli?
Cons: I’m too full, I made the mistake of sharing the broccoli.

Fantastic food but staff was too attentive - Edit
The food was fantastic. The 1,000 Layer Potatoes and General D's Cauliflower were incredible and are must orders for apps.
Read moreThe service, however, was enough to knock this down a star. The hostess was a little rude and our server would not leave us alone. We couldn't take two bites without them interrupting us, at one point a second server even came over to ask if everything was ok. There's a difference between being attentive and being overbearing. Couldn't even relax and enjoy the meal.

A must visit in Chicago - Edit
Ive eaten here all three of my visits to Chicago and have never been disappointed. So many options to choose from, and never had anything that wasn’t super tasty. You absolutely must save room for dessert and get the warm chocolate cookie, it’s to die for!

Vegan sushi and Asian fusion - Edit
Sat in the outdoor street side patio. seats were very comfy and well decorated both in and out. Inside was a bit quieter, seemed like a nice chill restaurant. Ate sushi and the peri peri skewers. Also had a matcha latte and lychee gin drink that was delicious. For dessert had a carrot cake and ice cream.

The lunch special is a main starter for $28 which, for this upscale place, is a steal in my opinion.

Good Vegan Asian Cuisine - Edit
I had the delicious korean bbg chik'n sandwich with caesar salad and was surprised how good the salad was. The "bacon" mushrooms were really good. Sandwich definitely hit that chicken itch I've had since recently converting. Girlfriend got the Volcano sushi that was also very good! We also got the crispy gyoza which we had ordered first, but ended up coming last. We were pretty full after our meals already, but we cleaned up the gyoza just as easily lol. Highly recommended. Kombucha Mojito also very good, but hard to recommend a $15 drink.

Amazing Upscale Vegan Restaurant! - Edit
This is a perfect restaurant. I loved the vibe, it’s a pleasant and upscale restaurant with lots of space, comfortable seating, and great service. It’s usually hard to find fancier vegan restaurants that you can go to for a date night but this is definitely that!
Read moreWe tried a bunch of things and everything was amazing. I will say the appetizers and dessert were my favorite, and I wasn’t a big fan of the cocktail I ordered.

Nice place, tasty food. They have plenty of tables and a small bar. Kombucha mojito was delicious and refreshing. For food, I got the truffle fried rice and added fried tofu. Good filling portion, tasty, and not too dominated by the truffle.

Exceptionally good food. - Edit
This place has the decor and menu of a modern, trendy, populist venue. I’m sure it’s the sort of place that appeals to non-vegans and will delight them (which is great).
Read moreThe food is superb. Plenty of actual plants and legumes (try the beans and lentils side) and the flavours and textures are great.
Strongly recommend the steamed dumplings.

Amazing. Go. Do it. Especially if it's Monday! - Edit
In town for work travel and was looking for vegan restaurants and found this one on HappyCow and VegNews highly rated. It did not disappoint. I knew I wanted to get the bang bang broccoli of the reviews I'd read but then when I got there they also said they have a Monday Maki deal where all the Maki rolls are $9 each (basically half price) OR you can do an all you can eat Maki for $38 (I don't remember exact price). I went alone and didn't think I could eat 4 rolls plus the bang bang broccoli so I didn't. But if I was with a group of people I'd totally say do it to try more varieties.
Read moreI got the Bang bang broccoli, Firecracker, Volcano and the Torched & Pressed. I would be hard pressed to pick a favorite but I will say the Torched and the Firefighter were really rich, especially after the broccoli and several were out had fried elements so the volcano was kind of a pleasant balance bc it felt fresher and more raw. I could not pick a favorite but I think the Torched and Pressed was the most novel, and it was so rich and almost like buttery plus with the truffle, just yum.
I did not plan to get all those rolls but there was some confusion and I was delivered an extra roll. It was WAY too much for one person but I definitely wasn't going to waste it.
Went back again on a Monday in April when visiting for work again. Got the torched and pressed again -- still probably my #1 I'd recommend to try bc it's so unique. Also got the red and green dragon rolls, both really good too. I slightly preferred the green dragon bc it tasted more "green" ¯_(ツ)_/¯
Also tried the carrot cake (April menu item) that someone else ordered and it was REALLY GOOD, especially loved the custard.

AMAZING brunch! - Edit
Happened to see this place nearby when I was in town for a couple days and I’m so glad I went! I don’t even usually like French toast but their French toast was amazing. Service is great, atmosphere is nice, but the food is some of the best vegan food I’ve ever had (and I have tried many vegan places in most east coast cities).

I've eaten at vegan restaurants all over in multiple states, and this is some of the best food I've ever experienced! Gourmet on all levels - Edit
After 2 nights of sub-par cocktails in Chicago establishments, I was hesitant to order one. The cocktails were spot on (particularly the espresso martini). We had truffle soba noodles & kimchi brisket fried rice, both of which were sublime. Raspberry cheesecake was also delectable. It was a steep meal given out choices, but worth every sip and bite.
