Yummy food

The atmosphere and decor is stunning and really cool. Most of the food is delicious, the starters and sushi we had were incredible but the noodle dishes were on the underwhelming side.

The staff are efficient but not particularly friendly, and food comes out very very quickly which can make you feel rushed.

Pros: Lots of options, Delicious sushi , Big dessert menu

¡La comida es increíble!

Fui a cenar y pedimos varios platos para compartir. Todo estaba delicioso y nos quedamos muy satisfechos. El restaurante tiene un ambiente precioso que recuerda a la selva tropical

Perfect taste

I tried a mix of items, brocheta de hongos, Dragon Spicy Roll, tacos Peking, and an onigiri and each one had its own personality.

The brocheta de hongos was a standout in terms of texture. The mushrooms were juicy and meaty, with a slight char that added depth and a smoky edge.

The Dragon Spicy Roll leaned more on bold flavors. The plant-based filling had a creamy-spicy balance, and the textures worked nicely together soft rice, and a bit of crunch.

Tacos Peking were probably the most interesting reinterpretation. The tempeh had a slightly crispy exterior, coated in a sweet-savory sauce that felt true to the style. Paired with fresh veggies, it created a really satisfying bite.

The onigiri was simpler but well executed, lightly seasoned rice with a flavorful filling that added contrast without overpowering.

Favorite spot

This was probably the best food we had on our trip to Mexico City! We ate so much that we didn’t leave much room for dessert which I regret as we saw what another table had ordered. The crunchy kimchi roll was probably the best bite of food I had on the entire trip. The curry was also delicious!

Wonderful vegan pan-Asian food in Mexico City!

Was able to walk-in and be seated for dinner right away. It has a great atmosphere with lots of the greenery and cool lighting. Very quick service and attentive servers.

Eager to try lots on Plantasia’s menu, we definitely over-ordered for 2 people. Ordered the following:
- Strawberry Shake: generous portion size but dislike the taste; flavor was diluted with ice and then had a strange and sour aftertaste (reminiscent of vinegar). Would have preferred the Thai Iced Tea instead but they were sold out
- Mushroom Skewer: Very good! Although I realized almost all my dishes ended up having mushroom, so it was tasty as individual dishes but maybe overkill on the mushroom profile overall
- Kushi Mozzeralla: My personal FAVORITE dish of the night! It tasted just like a mozzarella stick from my childhood. Perfection in my opinion.
- Tacos Peking: Delicious and fun build-your-own tacos (comes with 4 tortillas)
- Truffle Udon: Another fave! Very rich and creamy
- Birriamen: It was only okay; too spicy for my liking

Would have loved to try the vegan donuts if I had been so full—next time!

Exquisite dining experience

Walking into the restaurant feels like stepping into a greenhouse with so much plant life throughout the space. Although it was busy, the dining experience still felt special and intimate. Our favorite dishes include the mushroom skewers, the Brussels sprouts skewers, Kushi (like a mozzarella stick), Ramen, Tempura Broccoli, Curry Verde, Unagui Roll, and, for dessert, the Taro Donatusu. Service was excellent. Reservations recommended.

Pros: Creative and delicious food , Ambience , Service

Cons: At least a 20 minute wait without reservations, Expect service to be slower in busier times

Delicious

I ate here two days in a row and food was delicious! The sushi rolls are not the greatest (too much rice) but still good.

Good food for a high price

We both got sushi rolls and an appetizer of edamame. The sushi was good, the edamame was great! However, I’d be hesitant to go back with the cost of the food. For that price, I wanted it to be phenomenal, and it fell short a bit.

Pros: Beautiful ambiance , Decent food

Cons: Pricey

Not impressed

The decor is very nice indeed, lot of green, lot of Buddha, spacey and comfortable. But as for the food...

I took only a main dish and a skewer since the prices seemed very high compared to Mexico. I thought maybe something must be special to justify it. But the Pad See Ew was very mediocre. Barely any tofu, not much broccoli or nuts. Mostly a mountain of oily noodles with soy sauce. The most basic Asian. The Kushi banana skewer was strange but cute. The banana and cheese kind of melted together, both coated with crunchy amaranth panko. Actually better than the main dish.

The desserts actually looked like the most interesting part of the menu, but the prices, again. They cost like main dishes in all other restaurants around I've visited. Maybe next time I should come just for a dessert...

Bright, Open-Air Gem 😍

I love the vibe of this place — it has an open-air feel with lots of natural light and a relaxed atmosphere. The staff was super friendly and the food was delicious. It ended up being one of our favorite spots in Mexico City! The chilaquiles and pancakes were my top picks. Great place for brunch or to grab a drink at the bar.

Amazing Asian food in a beautiful location

Very delicious Asian food in a very pretty place. Many plants and decorations. The prices are a little higher than in traditional Mexican places although it was worth it.

Amazing experience ❤️

Delicious food, great service, incredible interior is an experience in itself!

We had some bruschettas - we were surprised with a teriyaki mushroom stick instead of mushroom bruschetta and mozzarella stick instead of mozzarella bruschetta. However, both were delicious and we even took 4 mozzarella sticks home - that's how good they were 😁😍

We also got pad thai, which was a huge portion and tasty, although quite simple.

Pros: Beautiful place, Great service , Tasty food
