Confectionery shop “Suma” is a small workshop making made-in-house pastries, sweets and juice, some of which is vegan and possibly others that could be made vegan upon request. Uses locally grown ingredients for the products, including wild fruits, spices and herbs that grow freely in nature. Offers coffee, pastries made with wild raspberries, blackberries, strawberries, acorn flour. Try the wild blueberry wine or a cold elder tree juice with wild lemon balm. Ingredients are combined with high quality Callebaut chocolate, while sugar is used minimally and substituted whenever possible. Pastries are made-in-house to order and served on handmade ceramic dishes. Has indoor and garden seating. Open Mon-Fri 10:00am-10:00pm, Sat 12:00pm-10:00pm, Sun 3:00pm-10:00pm.

The cakes are very tasty, the coffee as well. You can sit outside or inside, it's a nice vibe and some people come to read or work here as well. The staff was friendly. Vegan cakes are marked in the menu and coffees can be ordered with plant based milk.

Very cozy place with amazing sweets. Choco-hazelnut cake and poppy seed cake are my favourites. Carob sheet pan cake is amazing (reminds me of brownie but very tasty with a lot of cherries).

I really loved even just to look at all the vegan cookies and cakes and hot drinks available, so, it was a difficult choice hehehe.. I"m not used to having more than 1 vegan option...
Read moreLuckily staff are friendly and helpful and speak good English - actually there is even an English menu - so I settled for a superb vegam layered chocolate cake and a vegan hot chocolate. It was scrumptious!
I will surely come back also for the beautiful decoration and location at the heart of lovely Skadarlija.

mostly vegan wonderful homemade cakes not sure how often they change the selection but try the marzipan cake for something different! Comfy interior and friendly English speaking workers. Covered Seating available outside on the street too.

Had a piece of hazelnut cake with a friend. The cake was rich, creamy, filling, nutty and absolutely worth the calories. The piece was quite big and I definitely felt the price was justified.
Read moreThey had quite a few options for vegans, I'd say about 70% was suitable. The only con I saw was that vegan products weren't labeled as such, but one had to ask the staff about ingredients. The staff was knowledgeable and very friendly.
It is close to the main shopping street, in a quiet alley, also has outside seating, and cozy place for sitting inside. Also has a toilet for guests.
They take card.

Šuma is located in city center, it is really easy to find. The place is small but very cute. It is not completely vegan, but they have vegan choices, and they are very delicious. I can't wait to go back and try something else. :))

The coziest plase to sit and have something sweet in the city. Not everything is vegan but at least 50% of their sweets are. They are beautiful (!) and soooo tasty!
