Chilled & Vibey

Kind of hidden between a couple of buildings with a small entrance.

The food is delectable, great portions & extremely friendly staff.

Fully Vegan with a optional Non Alcoholic menu, I had the NA Guinness.

Pros: Fully Vegan, Broad menu, Friendly staff

Comforting food, perfect pre-show meal

I've been a few times and have yet to be disappointed. The food is nothing too fancy but tasty and satisfying. I've brought multiple non-vegan friends who were very happy with their meals as well! Music is a tad loud but gives a cool atmosphere. Definitely dont skip the drink menu :)

Pros: approachable and tasty food, convenient location, good portion sizes

Cons: service can be a bit slow, loud music

Decent Food

We chose this restaurant as it was close to our hotel and convenient for an evening arrival after a long flight. It did its job in the sense that we just wanted somewhere convenient to get a decent vegan meal, but seemed a bit overpriced for what it actually was - perhaps due to the location. This may be the tiredness we were suffering, but the music was so loud that it felt more like a bar than a restaurant, we were having to raise our voices to have a conversation. Service was a bit patchy as well - nobody took our drinks order or came back at the end of our meal to see if we wanted anything else, the wifi wasn't good enough for us to actually be able to access the menu via QR code, etc.

The food was fine - I had the pot pie, which was nice and comforting but a bit saucier than I'd have liked. My companions had the blue cheese burger (good, but the blue cheese was a bit underwhelming) and the barbeque burger (big fan).

Just what we needed

We arrived to New York as weary travelers, hours later than we anticipated. P.S. Kitchen was a short walk from our hotel, so we went there hoping for the best. Being a Saturday night, it was packed, and of course we didn’t have a reservation. The hostess was very kind and was able to make some space in the upstairs area for us anyway. We tried the BBQ burger, the Thai chicken sandwich, and they were nice enough to make a big plate of plain pasta for our child who was in no mood for sauce. The food was super good, the service was even better. It was just what we needed after a full day of travel and delays.

Pros: All vegan, Fun choices, In Times Square

One of everything pls

Love this place & can’t wait to try more! I went most recently for brunch & got the breakfast burrito which was hearty and delicious! The queso was so good! My friend got a burger & added truffle fries which were amazing!

Great spot to go before a Broadway show!

Very good vegan restaurant near Times Square

Loved the atmosphere, the friendly and

I got the Buffalo Maitake Sandwich which frankly I was not a very big fan of, but they have plenty of other Burger Options I've yet to try out. Oh yeah, and the apple cobbler was the best I've ever had in my life.

Pros: Lots of great options , Huge Variety

Cons: Pretty expensive

Mixed feelings

I went to P.S. Kitchen twice while I was visiting NYC. I liked it a lot the first time but was very disappointed the second time. The first visit I sat at the bar and got the Colombian potato soup and a glass of wine. The soup was pretty good and the bartender was really kind. My second time there, I went just for dessert. Unfortuantely, there was no space at the bar so the host put me at a table even though I was just getting dessert. My server was incredibly rude. I told her I was just getting dessert and that there wasn't any space at the bar. She acted fine with it at first, but after she brought me the cheesecake I ordered she did not come back. I needed a box and the check and she blatantly ignored me multiple times. As someone who served for several years, I know it can be frustrating having a table taken by someone not ordering a meal but this was absolutely ridiculous. I sat with my wallet and card out on the table for at least twenty minutes before another server picked up my card and brought me a box. He was super sweet and helpful, thankfully. On top of the bad service, the cheesecake was only okay; definitely not worth the price. With all of the other wonderful vegan options New York City has to offer, I'm not sure I'll be back to P.S. Kitchen.

Pros: 100% vegan, Nice atmosphere

Cons: Expensive

Fantastic

Great food and a really nice place with great service
I had the Black N Blue burger and was amazed now close it tastes to real blue cheese. Brussel sprouts were great as well. And the desert Chocolate pot de creme was fantastic.

Food was so Amazing

I did not know about this place, but I was definitely not disappointed. I loved my food and drinks, and my meal came out in probably about 4 minutes. Could definitely be cheaper though. Cocktails were $18

OK

After seeing all these great reviews, I was pretty excited to check this place out. I did initially think the menu was limited, and it is pretty limited if you are trying to eat very healthy. I had the beet arugula salad. It didn't have much flavor. The beets were good, but I think I made a mistake because I don't love arugula, so I could have probably made a better choice. My friend had the buffalo wings and they were soaked with sauce which was very overwhelming. She also had the truffle fries which were okay. There are not too many appealing gluten free options here besides the soups and salad (without croutons since they don't have gluten free croutons). They do have gluten free bread if you want to have the beyond burger.

Pros: nice ambiance, good wait staff filled water frequently, 3 bathrooms so you don't have to wait for bathroom

Cons: too much sauce on buffalo wings, I felt cold in the restaurant on the 2nd floor, menu is limited

Underwhelming

I was really looking forward to the dinner here but I must say in hindsight it was not that convincing.
I had a lasagne (was quite plain in taste and also quite little) and an apple cobbler (to much dough and to little taste too)

Overall I found the dishes rather blend and uninspired.
On top they were quite pricey.

Pros: Fully vegan

Cons: Not a taste explosion

World record

The staff at P.S. Kitchen were busy on a January night. Two people looking to eat before their show were welcomed by a kind waiter who sat them at a table reserved for somebody else. They had under 30 minutes to eat and they were hungry. He ordered two vegan meals and his friend, one meal and a dessert. The waiter served their food fast and the whole room witnessed a world record. The delicious food was devoured within 15 minutes. And the best part is they got to their show on time with full stomachs. Although...the friend regrets having the burrito.

Excellent Lunch Spot

I met 2 non-vegan friends here for lunch. We got the beyond burger wraps and beet salads with Cranberry Kiss drinks and they were tasty and generous portions. We split the chocolate brownie sundae and apple crisp for dessert which were delicious.

Pros: Tasty all plant based menu, Reasonable prices , Pleasant atmosphere to have lunch with friends

Best Experience in NYC

My husband and I went to 11 places for food on our trip and this was by far the best place. I will dream about this meal for a long time. I loved the Caesar Salad and the Potato soup the most. It was located close to Times Square and Broadway theaters making it perfect for a pre-show dinner.

Pros: Nice Ambiance , Delicious well thought out food, Friendly staff

100% vegan u lecker

Pros: Nettes Ambiente , Excellently service

Cons: Teuer

Good dessert

Had the chocolate ganache with raspberry to satisfy my sweet tooth and it tasted really good and the texture was fantastic. I also had the cashew vanilla ice cream and it was really good.
