Had high hopes when we saw the sign saying the cafe was ‘vegan-friendly’ but unfortunately this does not translate into ‘vegan-knowledgeable’. The menu is amazing, lots of choice, but as most of the vegan dishes were tofu, and they had no tofu (!), that reduced the options considerably, doubly disappointing as we love tofu! When discussing what we could have the waiter kept suggesting dishes with dairy or egg and when our breakfast finally came the toast had butter on it. As the cafe is also part of a hotel the prices are higher than other, better cafes close by, so we won’t be returning here to sample the menu.

Best cafe in Rishikesh, no competition - Edit
Healthy vegetarian and vegan fare prepared with love using high quality ingredients. I keep coming back here day after day for the amazing fresh food, the relaxed friendly service, the great study/work environment (large tables, great wifi, plentiful outlets, ganga view), and because its just my favorite cafe in Rishikesh (trust me, I’ve tried them all. This one wins hands down). I haven’t been disappointed by anything I’ve ordered here, but have been having a hard time trying new things because each thing I try becomes my favorite that I want to keep having again and again! I’m honestly hesitant to post this review, because part of me doesn’t want the word to get out and for it to become crowded in here, but I really support what these guys are doing and want to see them succeed, so its worth it!!
