Average food & atmosphere - Edit
The menu offers many (vegan) options, including Western food (Pizza, Pasta, etc.) and Indian food (rice, dal, vegetables, etc.). However, many drinks and dishes were not available.
Read moreThe food was average, as well as the atmosphere (there was construction work going on, no seating on the terrace)... perhaps it was not the best time to visit.

Not bad - Edit
I had the vegan Pizza. Was alright.
Read moreBut wouldn't order it again or come here.
Not even sure if it's really mostly organic...
And expensive for the price.
You can sit outside and inside.
Don't have sweets or desserts in summer only in winter. Just ice cream.
Not like written here that there's a backery.. It's just a few desserts on the menue. And the hotel and the restaurant are not together.. So you don't know they are connected.

Mushrooms and Tofu gravy with Rice - Edit
My apologies for always taking the photos after eating. I just forget and eat first. This dish was super good. Light and full of flavour. I don't know if it's on the menu, but I just asked him to make something with mushrooms and Tofu. It was really good. Happy.

Went for breakfast this morning. Coffee was nice but the food was over priced and very average. Bruschetta was three tiny squares of toast with barely any topping and the smoothy bowl was small and overpriced

Comfortable setting, great views, very mediocre food - Edit
Tried this place a few times but always the food was very disappointing. One of the salads (pictured) was ~80% lettuce. A soup which we ordered with no salt was very salty. And a wrap full of raw veggies was extremely oily. Tried to communicate these problems in a very friendly way, but this proved to be very difficult.

Friendly staff & nice smoothies - Edit
Not everything is vegan but there is a good selection and it is clearly marked what is vegan (and gluten free). They are happy to make changes to things to make them vegan. We didnt have a dessert but there was a good selection of cakes. The vegan pizza was relatively small but packed full of toppings and very filling! Also had a vegan smoothie which was nice.

Average food in a clean place with nice view - Edit
The restaurant is very clean, has comfortable seating, good service and a nice view. The right for western people. Several marked vegan options. Unfortunately the food I had was disappointing. And quite expensive. There are better options in Rishikesh.

Clean and Western options - Edit
We indulged ourselves with a day by the pool (the hotel just next to Pure Soul let you use the pool facilities for 500 rupes) and some good food at PS. A few vegan options... their hummus is to die for. Just like everywhere else, service is really really slow.

The seitan meatballs were watery and bland but the sauce was good. The sauteed broccoli (side) was tasty and simple with tons of garlic.

Many Healthy Options! - Edit
Their menu is loaded with juices, elixirs, smoothies, ayurvedic and vegan/raw vegan foods. I ordered the lentil soup and ravioli and my friend had the carmelized banana chai oats. Everything came out ridiculously hot.
Read moreWe also took home some walnut brownies and banana bread for friends. Food is pretty good; I appreciated the many healthy options and intend to go back for a juice and smoothie.

Better than the rest - Edit
Very fine pure veg place in the Tapovan area of Rishikesh.
Read more(By the Dewa Retreat Boutique Hotel. Note: I believe the map on Happy Cow is incorrect.)
Many vegan, gluten free and even raw items.
Use organic ingredients.
Some items have milk products.
Varied menu with breakfast served all day, like scrambled tofu, pastas, even a vegan pizza, middle eastern plate, etc. as well as Indian selections.
Everything we had was very good. Try the Bob Marley salad. Yes, I even gambled on a salad and had no ill effects from it. They do not soak the raw veggies like in some 5 star places, but they do thoroughly wash everything in RO water.
Many delicious juices, drinks and smoothies. Great decaf coffee with soy milk! First we have found in India.
(No meat, eggs, fish or fowl).
Modern, clean, spacious dining area with big view windows (with views to mountains). Euro height chairs and tables and also low tables and cushions. Also have outside seating as well.
Definitely nicer than most of the other places in Rishikesh.
