tasty, beautiful and artistic - Edit
Restaurant Array is a Western style restaurant with a great view of Mount Kozuka situated inside the Pola Museum of Art in Hakone.
Read moreNo fee is necessary to enter the restaurant, cafe and beautiful 40-minute walking trail around the museum with 25 sculptures scattered around.
They always have a vegan set lunch for 2530 yen on the menu, which contains a salad plate with vegan kara-age (deep-fried soy meat), keema curry and a drink.
It would be great if a dessert was also included, but it is rather reasonable and tasty compared to many museum cafes and restaurants in Tokyo.
It is a very pleasant area to visit and easier to get there by car, but there is a direct bus to the museum from Odawara Station and Hakone Yumoto Station.
You can also take the Kanko Shisetsu-Meguri Bus (Tourist-facilities Round Bus) commonly used by tourists in the Hakone area.
Open all year round from 11am to 4pm.
