Great food, cute cats - Edit
Romeow was by far the best cat cafe we have ever been to, both in relation to the food and the care for the cats. The place is tastefully decorated, the cats are relaxed and several groups of locals seemed to genuinely to come just for the food.
Read moreThe bistro is completely vegan. We got starters, two mains and dessert and everything tasted great.

Not my cup of tea, but probably great for others 🙂 - Edit
Ordered the smoked almond ricotta with pumpkin and mushrooms for starter. Disappointed I couldn’t taste much smoked flavour and frankly it mainly felt like eating cashews mixed together with a little sauce (which didn’t have much flavour either). Also it was incredibly small for the price of £13.5 (see picture, that’s a small piece of grissini 😬). The mushrooms were GREAT though, wished there had been more 😋😍
Read moreFor main I had the risotto with blue cheese, fenugreek and pepper. Basically it was a plate of very fatty rice with two sprinkled lines of spices. I love mouldy cheeses, but this one was very weak in taste. The dish also didn’t have any vegetables which to me is completely crazy 😅 I know it wasn’t listed in the item description, but somehow I didn’t realise people actually make some plant based dishes without vegetables 😳 I thought there would be grated zucchini or whole bell pepper or… Just something? To me the dish therefore was incredibly unsatisfying and despite not finishing the plate I still got nauseous from it being too fatty 😢
BUT I’m sure some people love that and I probably managed to pick the wrong dishes for me (seeing I love vegetables and aren’t very into processed foods 🙈 So much for trying to be Italian 😆).
Staff was kind, toilet great and the venue was nice, but smelled of cat pee (which I guess happens - no one to blame 🤭). Seeing I had to go and drink three green juices to get my body into balance again it wasn’t my kind of food, but everything was presented nicely, so maybe try if you’re into food like such ☺️
Pros: Vegan 🥰
Cons: Not much flavour, Too fatty 😮💨 , No sugar free desserts

I discovered a new delicious beverage, Chinotto, which tastes like a bitter orange soda. The food was excellent and the cats well-respected with lots of enrichment.

Rather upscale Cat Restaurant - Edit
I was there for lunch and was surprised by how upscale it seemed for a Cat 'cafe'. The prices also reflect that, at least during Lunch and Dinner. I had a Risotto with blue cheese, and it was interesting but a bit samey and quite heavy. My friend had a piece of cake which was good, but not amazing. The Cats were really sweet and seemed well taken care of as far as we could See. They were mostly chilling in the sun. The staff was friendly and the amuse-bouche was nice. I'd have been interested in trying their breakfast or afternoon Snacks, and I'd Like to go back when I'm in Rome again.

Wow - Edit
Wonderful place. They now have a tasting menu which is a sellection of some of the food in the menu. Both the taste and the presentation of the food is great. Friendly service and nice atmosphere. A bit outside the touristic centre but well worth the trip.

We left before we could eat - Edit
I don’t know about the quality of the food. We left because they were very unacommodating. I wanted to order a starter and drinks, and decide after that what i want as a main dish or desert. My colleague only wanted to have drinks and a desert. But they said that was impossible. they said i had to order a minimum amount at once, at least two dishes one of which has to be a main dish from a particular section on the menu, if i wanted to be there. I said that i am happy to take two dishes,, but i would first like my starter and then see if i wanna go for something heavy or lighter. My colleague did not want a main dish so he could not have ordered anything. We left because they were so inflexible. I dont understand why they dont just let you order what you want. The place was almost empty, so its not that i was stealing a table from more hungry customers who would have ordered and paid more. Another downside, the place smelled heavily like cat urine and feces. I guess a bit of a smell like that is to be expected at a cat Bistro, but i have been to similar places and i have to say it is usually not that bad.

Amazing Desserts - Edit
We went to Romeow for breakfast on a whim and it was absolutely delicious. We had hazelnut lattes, pancakes, and cake. My goodness…all delicious!! The lightest, tastiest white cake and the most delicious pancakes. Hazelnut lattes were so tasty and the cats were so cute. Very friendly kitties that seem happy. Great to see a cat cafe taking care of their animals and serving delicious vegan food.

Cucina unica e creativa - Edit

100/100 recommend - Edit
Wowww...this place is amazing. Not only is the food outstanding, I was so impressed with how big the restaurant is and how much space the cats have. I was happy to see that no one was bothering the cats (like most cat cafes). The food served is packed with flavor. People seem to genuinely come here for the delicious food and the cats just have to be a bonus.
Read moreCan't recommend it enough. I recommend making a reservation. I went for lunch.
P.S
1) I recommend the cheese board, but note that they serve it with a cup of honey (in case you don't eat honey)
2) The meal portions (during lunch) looked on the smaller side, but they were very filling. Me and my boyfriend shared the cheese platter antipasto and had one primo dish each and we were satisfied. We also shared a dessert and were full.

Such a special place! - Edit
This is a beautiful place with elevated cuisine... And cats!! We saw 6 cats today (I hear there are 8 but the other 2 must have been hiding).
Read moreThe resident cats here seem very happy with plenty of high places - and even outdoor catio access - for them to relax in when they have had enough attention. When we arrived most of the cats were sleeping but 3 did wake up and want attention from us before the end of our visit. All were very sweet and friendly.

Cute, friendly cats & some good food - Edit
Editing a previous review and changing my rating from 5 stars to 4 stars. When I came here on my first trip, I really enjoyed the creamy pasta dish and the cheesecake, although I found the tempeh dish a little lacking.
Read moreI returned on a recent trip to Rome and with more years of eating vegan under my belt. The maki jackfruit taco wrapped in seaweed was by far the best thing - very unique and delicious with the sticky rice and fishy jackfruit - but the cheesecake I remembered so fondly didn't really taste like cheesecake. It was good, but it mostly tasted like whipped cream on a biscuit base - I've had much more authentic vegan cheesecakes since my first one here. The shaved seitan dish was also pretty good, but the ravioli was just okay.

Refined high end dishes and adorable cats - Edit
The food is refined gourmet. Full of flavour and creativity - the skill and imagination is clear to see. The portion sizes are a bit small but you can always head next door to the vegan bakery. The environment for the cats is wonderful, they are genuinely loved and looked after unlike the cat cafe in London
