Great Indian food! - Edit
This has always been my go-to Indian restaurant. They have SO many vegan options! The 'spiderman' has always been my favorite but there are other great dishes, the vegan dumpling for example.

If you don't like something, tell the owner and he will fix it for you.
It can get really crowdy because the place is rather small. The owner and his wife are really nice people but the service can get a bit rushed, especially on a saturday evening.

Seperate vegan menu with dozens of options - Edit
We were here for lunch, and were the 1st patrons in the room.

There are 9 vegetarian starters, of which only the paneer was said to be not vegan.
We ordered:
- starter samosas 8€
- starter mushroom pakoras 7€
- tofu masala 18€
- tofu zalfrezi 19€
The starters were really nice, and a very decent portion (especially for that price!).
The mains were ok, they both tasted (and looked) quite similar, one a bit more spicy than the other. Came with white rice.
The garlic naan and stuffed naan were super! Very heavy with fresh garlic!
Friendly service (at least from the owner?). The other person serving didnt say anything...
But although there were no other patrons, it did take quite a while for the starters to come.
The place later filled for lunch. Lots of tourists it seemed.
It's a rather small place, but there are also some seatings in the upstairs area.
Not accessible, small step to get in. Not a lot if room inside. Toilets are at the back - upstairs. No accessible toilet. Toilets basic, small, but clean (had some trouble getting toilet paper as the full paper roll seemed stuck inside the plastic box 😬🙈).
We would definitely visit again, want to try some of the other vegan options!

Already visited many times! There are many vegan dishes on the menu. (Chana Tofu is high recommended!) Ask for the special vegan menu with about 50! vegan options.
You decide how spicy your dish will be.
It is best to book in advance.

The food was good, but not the best I had. The garlic naan we ate was so delicious (at least something positive). What about the service, this was the minimum, the staff was doing its job. We had the impression that the service was better when you are Indian people... The man at the table next to ours had to wait for long before to have his order. Meanwhile, a table with 5 Indian people had their meals well before (and they arrived after him)...

Klein maar fijn Indiaas restaurant, dat het zo klein is zorgde er wel voor dat het ontzettend warm was in het restaurant tijdens mijn bezoek.
Read moreVeel keuze en vriendelijke bediening. Ze weten helemaal wat vegan is, wat wel en niet kan etc. Wel beetje jammer dus je dan weer leren placemats op tafel hebt.. niet heel goed over nagedacht dus, puntje van verbetering.
We hadden de samosa’s als vooraf, staat niet op de kaart aangegeven maar alle starters behalve de paneer is vegan. Daarna hadden we dahl en palak tofu met vegan gevulde naan. Heerlijk gegeten.
Jammer alleen dat we lang hebben moeten wachten op het eten, het leek alsof de vleesgerechten bij iedereen in no time werden uitgeserveerd, vegan bestellingen moesten lang wacht. Echter kan dit ook duiden op kwaliteit en zorg voor bereiding.
Al met al heerlijk gegeten, aanrader

Read moreI ordered vegan Matar mushroom with beans. Well, you had to search for the mushrooms, the were almost not in it. The beans were absent and there was just a single pea in it. Also the curry was watery.
My non-vegan husband had *protein*- chef-special. Also in this dish just a single piece of that proteine, the rest was a cheaper proteine -what?-.
The flavors were boring.
Only the naan; garlic and coriander, were outstanding.
We felt cheated and we don’t recommend this restaurant.

My recommendation is to ask them for recommendations, and they'll make you the best food ever. If you don't want to do that, ask for the vegan menu (it isn't standart in the main menu) Owner/chef is vegan himself and great customer service, always so kind! 10/10 recommend!!!

Came here twice and ordered the vegan tofu masala and vegan garlic naan, Amazing!!! Beautiful flavours and aroma. So good to find an indian restaurant that offers a tofu curry not just vegetables or lentils. Staff are very friendly and accommodating and really understand what vegan means. Highly recommend!

The best place for Indian food - Edit
If you ask for it, they will give you a separate menu with only vegan options and there is so much to choose from. I had the tofu masala and the flavors were amazing. On the side, they offer vegan naan in different flavors (plain, garlic, olive, stuffed,...) and they are all to die for. The service was quick and friendly (on Sunday noon)
