I get all the more special vegan products from Ruohonjuuri. Coconut aminos, nutritional yeast, vegan vitamins and brazil nuts etc. What they don't have, you don't need. They have very good website and stores around Finland. Staff is very helpful and knowledgeable.

It's a shop that has so many vegan products. You can find all you need and there are sales on some products most of the time. Its student friendly as well but it can be expensive.

They offer a good variety of vegan products, as well as cruelty free cosmetics and household essentials. Some items are worth the money, but they also sell some BS health products. Quite expensive overall.

I found almost all of the uncommon items I was looking for here, though in some cases I paid more than double what I would’ve paid elsewhere, as some of the prices are a bit high here even by northern European standards. Still, it’s nice to find such a good selection of natural products all in one place, and with a pleasant atmosphere and friendly service.

From Ruohonjuuri you can find a large variety of vegan chocolates, cosmethics, fake meats etc. I believe Ruohonjuuri is also the only shop in Finland that sells coconut yoghurt. Excellent shop but can be expensive.

Pretty popular and maybe most well known hippie store in Helsinki but they keep selling colloid silver water and all kinds of alternate medicine there. Products are at least 20% more expensive here than bought in Ekolo, Ruohonjuuri or regular supermarkets.

invasion of alternative medicine - Edit
I would love to see Ruohonjuuri as a store with locally produced and environmental friendly products that cannot be found in conventional foodstores. I haven't been happy to see how alternative medicine and all kinds of crystals and magnets keep invading more and more space in Ruohonjuuri during the years.

Number one in Helsinki - Edit
Here you can buy anything vegan/vegetarian: shoes, food, snacks, toothpastes, detergents etc. And also hear about pro-animal and environmental work in Finland. It's a little expensive though. Easily found: it's opposite (north-side) the Kamppi shopping centre.
