Beautiful multi-course meal - Edit
We had such a lovely kaiseki dinner that was thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented. We made a reservation 2 hours before our meal for a vegetarian 9 course meal and a standard 9 course meal. I appreciated that I was told that the dashi used for my dishes was made from kombu and mushrooms. As a vegetarian, I was so happy to have such a wide array of dishes and flavors! I highly recommend for a truly special meal! Disclaimer: while I enjoyed watching the chef cook, he is also preparing meat and fish dishes. It is easy enough to ask to be seated away from the open grill, as the restaurant has other areas far from the fire.
