Wa had to pick a drink, 300 yen tablecharge and the food was not good. It was said to be vegan but it tasted a lot like egg (noodles and broth). Dont come here we payed for 2 persons almost 6000 円

The vegan options were clearly labeled on the menu and there were plenty of options to choose from. The staff was very friendly, but english was sometimes difficult.

Delicious vegan Chinese options - Edit
I visited the restaurant in the evening and tried the hot and sour noodles and vegetable dumplings. The noodles were spicy and very delicious. The dumplings had a mild taste but were also good. The staff were friendly, and it wasn't crowded, so I was seated immediately. Note that customers dining alone in the evening are required to order at least one drink, which can make it a bit more expensive. I had chrysanthemum tea. I enjoy Chinese tea and would like to try a different one next time. I think Chinese food is best shared, so it's more enjoyable to visit with others than alone.

We got the plain mapo tofu and vegan gyoza. We were both disappointed about how way too spicy the plain mapo tofu was. On the menu, it doesn't say it's spicy. Had we known, we wouldn't have ordered it. I couldn't eat my dish at all, only the rice. The gyoza was good though.

Read moreTried the new white mapo tofu which was really tasty. Not too spicy but had a nice kick. We went at lunchtime so had the mapo tofu plate which included rice and salad.
Staff were very friendly, helpful and spoke English.
If you go in the evening, you have to order rice separately😄

This place scammed me !
Read more1) they brought out a different dish then I ordered and refused to accept it was not the right dish - I specifically asked for tofu then they gave me a soya meat and told me it was tofu ! The photo on the menu showed tofu, and i confirmed on ordering that it was tofu. I have a medical issue where processed vegeterian meats are very hurtful to my heatlh. I had no choice but to eat the dish - risking my health for the remaining duration of my trip!
2) after ordering and sitting for a few minutes- they came back to me and made me order a drink. No where was it said before or posted.
3) when I went to pay my bill was magically higher than the tally - they told me service charge, another few charges, this, that, etc. - then told me that it would be another ~ 250 yen to use a credit card. In the end they charged me 700 yen (including the credit card fee) over what my bill with the drink was supposed to be.
Highway robbery !
The lady that runs this restaurant is predatory for tourist.
Do not go here if you are a tourist and visiting!
Look at all the bad reviews she has on google, I wish I saw them before going here ! She is continually been called a 'thief' and I couldn't agree more - wish I saw the reviews before going here !

Has a vegan menu! - Edit
We came to this place asking for some of the dishes we could see others had tried, by looking at previous reviews in the app. Ok arrival and after explaining we were vegan, we were presented with some veganised options (vegan stock available) and had an amazing ramen and some bums. After a couple of minutes the waiter realised they had a vegan menu so will return and ask for some of the vegan meat alternatives 💜

Very unfortunate about the bug. - Edit
I ordered the chinese fried noodles, the mapo tofu and the steamed buns. They were all delicious and I would give this place 5 stars BUT........there was a pretty big bug in my fried noodle dish....I found it near the end because it was close to the bottom. I told them and showed it to them and they were shocked and disappointed and apologized sincerely. They gave me a 5$ discount.
