Indian curry in Gotemba - Edit
Food is freshly made to order and very tasty. Staff speak English, just be clear that you cannot eat milk, butter, cream and yoghurt. All bread types contain milk in the batter and therefore cannot be made vegan on request. Rice plates are fine, except for the mitta rice. Vegetable and beans curries can be made vegan.

Very tasty, home-cooked authentic Indian food with loads of vegan options - Edit
This is quite a new restaurant, but they certainly know what they are doing. It's a big menu, but food arrived freshly prepared and very very tasty. With a lot of curry places, if you order lots (we ordered lots), you find that the sauce is basically the same, but with different veggies. Not here - they were all different and not just your usual flavours. Lots of real taste and variety. Staff spoke good english and knew about their ingredients, so even non-vegan things on the menu could be quickly modified. Do check, though, as the menu is not labelled clearly, so you'll want to be sure to avoid cream/ghee, etc. Would highly recommend this place.
