Best vegan pizza in NYC - Edit
Screamer's is far from where I live in Brooklyn, but so worth the 40 min ride on the subway. It's a tiny place, only three tables so take-out is best, but they have a wide variety of pies and also sell by the slice. It's a bit pricey, but oh so good. If you're in NYC and craving vegan pizza, this is the place to go.

Bottom line--if you live in NYC or are visiting and haven't come here yet, you need to stop playing yourself and visit. This pizza could more than hold its own next to non-vegan pizza, and I'd say you wouldn't be able to tell the difference, but for the fact that this actually tastes better than non-vegan pizza, so, you can tell the difference.
Read moreSo many varieties to choose from...I haven't been disappointed yet. The place is tiny so be prepared to take your order to go and shovel it in while you're walking back to the train (or be prepared to carry a box, because buying one slice isn't nearly enough).

Wow, wow, wow! We ordered 3 pizzas from these guys and they were all phenomenal. Eaten by a vegan, a vegetarian and two omnis, one of the omni guys said it was the best pizza he'd ever had. It was phenomenal!! So much so I had to review it. The buffalo and the mushroom one (forget the name) were both to die for, hard to pick a winner but the mushroom one I will dream about. Must eat if in NYC!!!

The best vegan pizza I have had yet! - Edit
I picked up Screamer's last night while I was wondering around on a beautiful day in Brooklyn! I have had this once before at the Vegan shop-ups but never been to the location. I was so overwhelmed with happiness to see all of the different options and cannot wait to continue to try more! I ended up with one slice of the Buffalo Cauliflower, and one slice of the Chorizo, and both were so flavorful and amazing! I was highly impressed. A must visit in BK!

After becoming vegan I immediately missed New York pizza. Of course I made my own pizza versions at home, but no vegan pizza beats Screamers. I live in Queens so its a bit of a hassle to get there, but I do it anyways because it's worth it!!

I've tried a few vegan pizzas before and nothing compares to Screamers!! The cheese is delicious and tastes better than I can remember cheese before I went vegan. The vibe is great, music is awesome and the people were also lovely. Also, the variety in options is incredible and very creative! I'll definitely be back :)

Pizzas are great no question about it. However I find it ridiculous that they don't have a bathroom. There are 4 tables in the restaurant so people spend some time there.. Also if you go hungry after some drinks, this place will be open but there is nowhere to go around if you need to use the toilet. Probably better just to order the food.

hot pesto is inedible - Edit
The hot pesto is so ridiculously hot that it can't even be enjoyed. Extremely disappointed. Also we ordered the veggie delight or whichever pizza with all the veggies and shame on me for assuming it would have cheese but for 23 bucks no cheese. So disappointed. Our pizza nights at home are much better... not worth the trip.

Walked here on a hot day, and almost skipped it because of how muggy it is outside, but so happy i got to try it. I had their Buffalo cauliflower pizza, and it was perfect. Wish we had this in California!

Perfect Thin Crust Pizza - Edit
I highly recommend this small vegan pizzeria! The crust is perfectly thin, the sauce is delicious, and they not only have some of the best vegan pizza in the world, but also have giant canzone, and vegan cannoli and cheese cake for dessert. I am so glad that NYC finally has a a great vegan pizzeria.

Finally a "slice joint" in NYC. Yes Vinnie's sells vegan pizza by the slice, but it is not even close to the same. So far I have tried five different kinds of slices, and one is better than the next.
