not a fan - Edit
sad to say that I've been to this place several times over the past years and everytime I was there I left disappointed, I love korean food and I have just tried so many better restaurants, if you want to eat korean food in frankfurt this is not the one I'd recommend. Maybe the non vegan food is more delicious and that's why it stays popular, but what I had I didn't enjoy much. At most, the bibimbap is okay.

Very nice owner and good food - Edit
I went to this place looking for a hot late lunch after a flight to Frankfurt. The menu has vegan dishes or dishes that can be veganized identified. However, after asking for help from the owner, to explain the menu better, he identified even more dishes and helped me compose my final dish. I ended up choosing the Dolsot (bibimbab in a hot stone pot) with no egg and with added tofu, with red rice. It was very good!

4 stars for vegan Mandu-guk - Edit
They sadly have only a few vegan options, but I strongly recommend to try vegan Mandu-guk (you have to ask for it to be made vegan), which is a soup Korean people eat for New Year's. It is amazing (but pricey!, however, worth trying out :))

Nice - Edit
Nice Korean restaurant in Frankfurt downtown, close to the central station. We had the Bimbibap bowls and they tasted really good and authentic. Unfortunately the staff didn't know if their dishes were vegan or not but they were still helpful.

Seoul Tofu! - Edit
Seoul Food is known for its bibimbaps, which are tasty, I'll give you that, but with everyone else offering buddha bowls and poké and whatnot these days, I'm fine with something that is NOT a bowl filled with rice and toppings. How fortunate that this line of thought made me order their Seoul Tofu one night. It looks bland, just breaded tofu, onions, mushrooms and sauce on the plate, nothing to green it all up, but holy smokes, that sauce is tasty! Does anyone know what they put in there? Because I have to admit, I'm totally hooked! Whenever I come here, I don't even get to choose anything else anymore, so I cannot comment on any dishes other than the one or two bibimbaps I had and the dozen or so servings of Seoul Tofu. I don't even recall if there was a time when I tried the hot stone bibimbap, to be honest, but if I did, it obviously didn't leave a lasting impression. So if you came here and weren't convinced by the bibimbap either, give their Seoul Tofu a try!

The rolls are good, rest is a big meh - Edit
Barebones food, not particularly well up heated. Taste is meddling and price is too high.

Tasty but - Edit
Food was tasty and healthy, I got a bibimbap with tofu and spicy sauce. not a heap of toppings but still pretty good- I asked for vegan but somehow ended up with what I think was sliced omelette on mine. the staff didn't speak the best english but I found that weird considering I said vegan in German a few times too, but could've been an error on the kitchens part.

Super tasty Vegan options - Edit
I had the tofu vegan bibimbap with the spicey sauce (not overly spicey, but a really good choice for the dish) and it was sooooo tasty. The staff were also lovely and friendly. I would have given the restaurant five stars, but this site won't allow me cause its not a fully vegan restaurant.

Great Bibimbabs - Edit
Seoul Food is a good option if you need a quick meal in Frankfurt. They mainly offer Bibimbabs which are bowls with rice (you have a choice of different ones, I like the black one a lot) and veggies with Tofu and a sauce (some of which are vegan and clearly marked as such).
Read moreThe serves are large and also quite inexpensive. An option I never tried is to pay extra to get your food in a hot stone bowl (instead of a normal bowl). They told me everything else would be exactly the same so I never felt the need to pay for that.
Pros: Inexpensive, Vegan options clearly marked, quick but healthy meal
