Overall solid grocery store with MANY vegan options - Edit
Just a few awesome finds at this location of Sprouts, all vegan and gluten-free: stuffed grape leaves, Abbot's fajita "chicken," coconut milk Greek yogurt, Evolution brand green juice, store brand savory baked tofu (precooked, ready to eat). Most Orlando grocery stores (Publix, Target Grocery) and health food stores (Chamberlin's) only have plain, raw tofu. If you're in a hotel room, there's nowhere to cook it. So ready-to-eat tofu at Sprouts was a real find!
Read moreThey also had tons of fresh fruits and veggies, Beyond Meat, other Abbot's vegan meats, nondairy milks, various vegan yogurts, and many grab & go prepared foods.
Since there are so many great vegan and vegan-friendly restaurants in Orlando, I normally don't want to buy too many groceries. When traveling as a vegan, it's always easy to find carbs like rice, potatoes, or quinoa. But it can be harder to get proteins or greens. So dropping into a health food store for pre-cooked tofu, veggie meats, or vegan yogurts is a great option. Green juices or kale chips are ways to sneak in more plants as snacks on the road, too.
This location of Sprouts is right by a Whole Foods, so you can get the best of both stores in one trip! Whole Foods has hot and cold food bars, which Sprouts doesn't have. Sprouts has more new items, like more flavors of Abbot's vegan meats and Big Mountain brand tofu (which Whole Foods hasn't picked up yet).
Pros: Lots of proteins: tofu, Beyond, Abbot's, etc., Grab and go prepared foods, Vegan milks and yogurts, vegan protein bars
