Offers lunch menus, wide range of local vegan cuisine, fair-trade coffee, alcoholic drinks including local draught beer, vegan and gluten-free cakes and other desserts and last but not least a variety of high quality non-alcoholic alternatives. Open Mon-Wed 16:00-23:00, Thu-Fri 16:00-00:00, Sat 10:00-00:00, Sun 10:00-23:00. Kitchen closes every day at 10pm. BRUNCH 10:00-13:00 on weekends

Great food with a great mission - Edit
We were so excited to eat at Strecha tonight. The restaurant is large and bright. When we first entered we thought it was small, but the restaurant is in the shape of an L and has about three separate seating areas on the long arm. We sat in the very end room which had a couch with a low table and a chess set and a monopoly game. Our servers were very nice and spoke to us in English.
Read moreWe ordered the dumplings on red cabbage and the fried cheese with fries. It was great to get to try some traditional Czech dishes veganized. The food was delicious and the portions were generous - we sadly weren't able to finish our meals because we ran out of room.
We were happy to purchase a pending meal for someone in need.

Big place with lots of tables, some with comfy stuffed chairs. The menu has quite a variety of choices, with the theme on the comfort-food side of things. Burger, Fries, Schnitzel, Fried Cheese... I had the Soy Sirloin in Creamy Vegetable Sauce. Delicious! The selection of cakes looks wonderful, too (but I was too full to try them this time). The staff were all very friendly, even on a super-busy Friday dinner crowd.

Lovely and friendly staff, nice, clean restaurant, lots of great food options to choose from. I had the kebab plate, the salad dressing was amazing and the dips were delicious. However, I found the ‘meat’ to be sometimes quite chewy but overall really nice. Would recommend

Read moreRecently i went with friends, somehow they do like this place and they do not see what i see. I know why. I am a manager in a restaurant and i have worked in service too. I arrived to a table where ppl already had drinks and we were waiting for one more person. Nobody came to ask me whether i want something. So i sat. The last person came. Again, no one from the staff approached us. After 15 plus minutes i waived at the guy working the bar. I mean, i would not be complaining if they had rush, but half of the place was empty.
Vegan duck was bad, absolutely no flavour. The cabbage had strange consistency. Dumplings were extremely dry. I ate the food because i was hungry. Did i enjoy it? No.
For this price, i’d expect like Vegalite (Brno 🩷) quality.

We had a great dinner at Střecha. Everything tasted great. We liked the authentic restaurant and that they also included authentic Czech dishes in vegan. Also a big plus: you can include a free meal for a homeless person in your check if you like - what a great thing to do!

The staff was really nice and friendly. Food was quite delicious but underwhelming and a bit boring. Additionally there was no red cabbage left and I couldn’t eat the dish I came for. Nevertheless the place was quite beautiful, the wine delicious and I love that they are serving just vegan food!

Simple and beautiful wooden interior, loads of space and plenty of tables. The menu is interesting with some classic Czech dishes as well as more 'regulars' such as burgers, kebabs. I love that it's fully vegan. They even have a cheeseboard! I had the goulash, which was very tasty, and a beautiful homemade blueberry and lavender lemonade. Staff are lovely and the overall vibe is very relaxed.

Went here as it was close to our hotel when we arrived and had a lovely meal!! The garlic soup was amazing and so was the soy sirloin and schnitzel. Great beer as well but that is a given in Prague! You can also pay for an extra meal for anyone who needs it.

We were in Prague only a few days and saw this restaurant was close to were we were when I got hungry. Not disappointed that we went in. My partner had a Chai Latte and said his was his best ever, I had a beer and the schnitzel with potato salad, also excellent and the schnitzel was definitely not dry. Would have loved to have tried a desert but I was full… next time 😊.
