Offers lunch menus, wide range of local vegan cuisine, fair-trade coffee, alcoholic drinks including local draught beer, vegan and gluten-free cakes and other desserts and last but not least a variety of high quality non-alcoholic alternatives. Open Mon-Wed 16:00-23:00, Thu-Fri 16:00-00:00, Sat 10:00-00:00, Sun 10:00-23:00. Kitchen closes every day at 10pm. BRUNCH 10:00-13:00 on weekends

Great food with a great mission - Edit
We were so excited to eat at Strecha tonight. The restaurant is large and bright. When we first entered we thought it was small, but the restaurant is in the shape of an L and has about three separate seating areas on the long arm. We sat in the very end room which had a couch with a low table and a chess set and a monopoly game. Our servers were very nice and spoke to us in English.
Read moreWe ordered the dumplings on red cabbage and the fried cheese with fries. It was great to get to try some traditional Czech dishes veganized. The food was delicious and the portions were generous - we sadly weren't able to finish our meals because we ran out of room.
We were happy to purchase a pending meal for someone in need.

The food is very tasty and not expensive. The atmosphere of Strecha is cozy and artistic and inside of Strecha there is a lot of space for the guests. One con is that there are no seats outside. Strecha has a children friendly menu and helps people with social needs. This is also a very good social mission. They serve traditional czech dishes. But they have also food from other parts of the world. The staff is also very friendly. So come and visit!!!

Wide yet cozy atmosphere. This place offers traditional European dishes. We had schnitzel and gulash. Everything was delicious and it was very cheap. Portions vere very big. The restaurant employs people in need or with a difficult social background so you're also collaborating with a good cause. Would defined come back.

What a lovely place! We found it to be very cozy, a nice place to have a chat while eating this delicious food. Great service and super kind waiters, they offer a variety of traditional and regional dishes completely vegan. We ordered the daily special and the dumplings on red cabbage, both dishes warmed us up and were really tasty. The flavors are excellent and the portions satisfying, I would definitely visit again!

Beyond expectation. This is such an amazing place with amazing foods. Very interesting vibe here. Fab, friendly, prompt and sweet staff. The food tasted aaaamazing!! Very fresh and flavoury. On weekends reservation most likely is needed because I tried to go back on Saturday night with my friend without a reservation but they couldn't serve us, unfortunately. A must-go and you will not be disappointed!

Get the Pickled Tofu In Oil with Bread - Edit
The pickled tofu and bread was simply incredible. Probably best tofu and the best bread I’ve ever had. The consistency of the tofu was closer to cheese than even the firmest extra firm tofu, I have no idea how they did it. The kebab plate was good as well, but the pita to kebab ratio could’ve been a little better. Service was fantastic and the food came out quickly.

Restaurant is located away from crowded tourist areas yet at gentle walkable distance from charles bridge. All options are vegan and varity of food available. Chilli burger which I had was really nice. Portion is big with fries. Staff is friendly, serve customers with smile on their faces.
