I've gotten multiple dishes here, and every single one of them has been a winner. I will say that their pizza and pasta options are especially delicious. And the smoothies are beyond words. I love that they also seasonally change things up so that the menu doesn't remain stale. Miss sitting and enjoying a meal (ugh, COVID), but hopefully we'll be able to do that again soon. Always excellent and kind service as well. Two enthusiastic thumbs up!

I consider this gourmet vegan food because it’s so tasty. Such unique combination of flavors. It’s rich and very filling. Not too salty which I like, that’s such a detractor from the real taste of the vegetables. Simple food but presented well with great flavor.

This place came highly recommended by a local vegan friend and it did not disappoint. The big menu was hard to chose from as a lot of their items sounded really good. I opened for the cooked lasagne with cashew cheese, it was fantastic and filling. If you are a coffee lover like me, then do yourself a favor and get their Coffee Shake!

Went here for dinner while staying in Burbank. It was a 25 minute drive but it turns out the drive was worth it. Ordered the savory pot pie and a green juice. The pot pie was still very hot even though I took to all the way back to my hotel. There were a lot of delicious vegetable chunks and the sauce was delectable. Loved the juice too, lots of nutritious yumminess! SunCafe looked to be a busy, trendy spot and I'm sure is tough to get into when Covid isn't around. I will definitely try to go back though.

Read moreThe tempeh burger has the tastiest GF bread. The mac'n'cheese is gooey and flavorful. The desserts are amazing. (They usually have more varieties than what's on the menu!, so ask!)
The outside ambiance is so nice, with lights on the trees.
The whole experience is worth it.

I first gave this restaurant a 5 star review titled “favorite spot” as it blew me away at my first meal with the best Baked Potato I’ve had in my life! However, I’ve had multiple dishes since then that there that aren’t mindblowing, some which I decided to return for being too spicy for my sensitive palette. I’ve had too many misses to want to eagerly go back. This restaurant may just not be my taste, but perhaps its yours!

Went for late lunch / happy hour so got to try some happy hour specials (lettuce chorizo tacos, nachos) while sitting outdoors. Colossus Kale was good but just a salad. Reuben was OK, but we make a homemade reuben that fits us better; provolone a bit rubbery-oily as is common with cheez subs.

Okay, so this is actually the first all-vegan restaurant that I’ve been to (and my first review). I don’t usually write reviews, but this is some of the most amazing food that I’ve eaten so far. I went to Sun Cafe with my parents and great-aunt, none of whom are vegan, but they all really lived the food too. We shared the four dishes (and one dessert) between us, and we all really loved the rich flavors. Some of the prices are a bit higher, but I think it’s absolutely worth it. Really recommend this place!

The place is super nice and has a good outdoor space! The staff is very welcoming and the menu offers a variety of options that can please everybody! They were super nice about some variations I asked about the sandwich i ordered, and it was all very good. The water is free, which is highly appreciated! A bit pricy, but it’s LA so it’s fair!! And after that I was super satisfied with my meal, and didn’t leave hungry for sure! Really recommend it!!

Beautiful garden and indoor seating area. The staff is super friendly and helpful and the food is flavorful and tasty! The completely organic and vegan menu has something for everyone, be sure to check out the specials. The brussel sprouts are some of the best I’ve had in my LIFE. Milkshakes and smoothies are sharing size for sure.

Several great organic and gluten free vegan dishes. They say all ingredients are farmer's market organic fresh. The gluten free double stuffed quesadillas are 100% fabulous. We also had a special dinner there one year for Valentines Day and it was special and absolutely amazing with gluten free dessert! We love this place!
