Abundance of Vegan Mexican Food! - Edit
Tacos Veganos is great for vegan Mexican food if you're looking for something other than just a typical veggie burrito. I usually just get a bean and cheese quesadilla. Although, last time I did have the potato tacos and they were delicious. I just wish they had more options that were "meat"less- I am not a fan of imitation meat.

Lucky find in Phoenix - Edit
We were killing time before heading to the airport. Found this place and it had the magic word vegan. It is sort of like a vegan taco bell, but the food was super tasty. I had the special tacos de papa's. My husband had the cauliflower taco and cheese and Pollo taco. All was super tasty.

Read moreI wanted to give this place 3 stars for being vegan and for the friendly service, but unfortunately, I have to give 1 star because I got food poisoning about 4 hours after eating here. The tacos asada and jackfruit tacos were way too oily, and the tomato sauce tasted like it came straight from a can. The papas taco was slightly better, but only in comparison to the other two. The guacamole had an oddly smooth, almost jelly-like texture, and the taste was off. The nachos were also drenched in oil—I barely ate any. I’m not sure what caused the food poisoning, but I was definitely not expecting to get sick. I won’t be coming back

Ordered just about one of everything on the menu. So flavorful and authentic tasting! While I love spicy food it was nice that nothing was too spicy so my kids ate some of everything we ordered as well….. and loved everything.

WOW everything (tacos, quesadilla, conchas) was so good. The quesadilla in particular was remarkably cheesy.?Staff were friendly and we can’t wait to come back. My one, minor complaint is that while the restaurant looks great, it could sound better. Turning on some music would help cover the noise from the kitchen.

I tried 3 different tacos a la carte and all had great flavor, but probably not entirely fresh ingredients. The guacamole, for example, was definitely not fresh. Also, they use fast-food-style “disposable” packaging (even for dine-in orders), which is unnecessarily wasteful. Just changing these two things would bump this place up another star or two.

Very tasty food! I got the AZ Burrito with asada which... contains french fries? Which it totally said on the menu I'm sure but I didn't read that far so it surprised me. Was tasty though! And a sizable amount of food. Food came decently quick. Vibe of the place is a little grungy and fast-food-esque so maybe not the place to take your date... But then again the food is pretty tasty so maybe it is. Would definitely come back.

I ordered the pastor taco platter, nachos, and horchata and they were all so good! I was happy to find a good vegan Mexican place (I don't live in AZ and they are hard to come by where I'm from). The restaurant itself was quite loud (it's an open floor and a lot of kitchen machinery noise makes its way up front) and it was hard to hear the server. Would eat again, but would probably get takeout next time.
