Really good place - Edit
Majority of the items were really good, specially the birria tacos and the carne asada burrito.

Great food and great prices - Edit
We called in for an early lunch and the place was already busy. A good sign! We had the Arizona fries, Baja tacos and the Birria tacos. We went with the soy "meat" but they have jackfruit options too. They even have two flavors of vegan cheesecake for dessert. We'll definitely be back!

Great tacos - Edit
Visiting from LA, this was the first vegan place we tried in Phoenix and we would definitely come back! I got the 5 taco plate, and tried the asada, pollo, and al pastor.
Read moreAll of them were fantastic, but the al pastor was my favorite. My wife also tried the birria taco which was her favorite. The tacos came out super fast too and were very affordable! Highly recommend this place!

Horchata Excellence - Edit
The horchata here is absolute fire. While expensive, it's definitely worth it. Their Al Pastor is superb and I love getting their tacos or burritos.

Good spot, but lacking in flavor - Edit
We had been wanting to try this place for a while and it was good, but honestly not great. It’s a great spot for a quick bite and it really scratches that itch for Mexican food, but all the meat substitutes seem to be made from soy curls and they’re not flavored enough to really taste the difference. I had to drown my fries in hot sauce to taste anything. A little disappointing.

Open late - Edit
We picked a great take-out dinner here - burritos. Service was very good. It was open later than a lot of other vegan places. The food was good and filling.

Delicious! - Edit
We got the birria special with consome which, as others have said, is definitely a must order. It is so delicious, but very greasy. Worth it. My partner got the surf and turf burrito which was only okay, I wouldn’t get that again. We also got a pumpkin concha which was very good. Go for the birria, stay for the conchas, pass on the surf and turf burrito.

Mexican food to DIE FOR! - Edit
Drop everything you’re doing and go to Tacos Veganos. The “meat” is amazing. The taste and texture is fabulous. I’ve had the asada and pastor. The AZ burrito is soooo good, and their red sauce brings it from a 10/10 to a 15/10. Pair that with a horchata, and I’m in heaven. I cannot wait to work through their whole menu, and I’m so happy this place is in AZ!

Tasty vegan mexican classics 🇲🇽 - Edit
Pretty good food! I’d definitely come here again if I’m in the area. The best things on the menu are is the horchata and the torta. I also like to smother my torta with their hot salsa — so good!

Skip the tacos, get the burritos - Edit
Having ordered the taco platter, I can’t say I’m a huge fan. The rice and beans had a weird taste, and the tacos were decent. Previously I had the AZ burrito which was much better.

Wow! - Edit
This place is amazingly delicious! I left a review on Google to because this place is that good! I had a jack fruit/cauliflower burrito and it was a huge burrito! The chipotle sauce had a little kick to it but it wasn't too spicy for me. They do offer sauces which can kick it up a notch. If you are sensitive to spicy foods, just ask for a mild version.
Read moreI wish I lived closer since I found this on a road trip through the Southwest last month. I'm planning another trip through Phoenix just to eat here again!
Pros: Delicious!, Large portion, Friendly staff

Fantastic Vegan Tacos - Edit
These tacos are incredible!! My friend and I went on Taco Tuesday; those tacos are smaller/street-sized and all of them were incredibly delicious!
Read moreI got the Quesa Birria taco (not part of Taco Tuesday) and now I know why non-vegans love this taco so much. It’s savory, dripping in sauce but still crunchy, and packed with flavor.
I also got the Cauli Baja taco (not part of Taco Tuesday) and it tastes like a beer batter fish taco!! I remember as a kid going to Rubio’s for those and this hit me right in the nostalgic feels. The cauliflower was cooked perfectly: it wasn’t soggy, the batter had a soft crunch. The cabbage slaw gave it that extra crunch and zest, and it was perfectly messy.
Lastly, I got the Taco Tuesday Al Pastor and was so excited to try vegan Al Pastor! It was perfectly spiced! I have no meat experience to compare this to but I loved all of the flavors happening in that tiny taco.
I grew up in Phoenix and I am so proud that they have upped their vegan foodie scene and this place is one of my top favorites. DO NOT MISS GOING TO THIS PLACE!!
Pros: Reasonably priced , Variety of items on the menu, Great flavor

What a taco shop should be - Edit
Got the AZ burrito, bean and cheese burrito, and the Raman. It was exactly what I was looking for and reminded me of Nico's/Filiberto's/Betos style taco shops I would eat before going vegan. Highly recommend

Solid Mexican Food - Edit
Honestly one of the best vegan Mexican places I’ve been to. My non-vegan friends were also super impressed — one of them said they liked it better than non-veg Mexican food. We made sure to try all the meats, but in different dishes to get variety. The group favorite was the AZ burrito with asada. We also loved the birria tacos with consomé, as it was one of the best vegan birrias I’ve had. Their red salsa is also great to drizzle on everything. Prices were reasonable, and both quality and quantity made it so worth it.

Vegan mexican food! - Edit
Mexican food is probably my number one favorite cuisine, so I was super excited to try this place. I went for their Taco Tuesday special, I order one of each type of meat for the tacos. I got the asada, al pastor, pollo, and the birria. My favorites were the al pastor and the birria. I also got the AZ burrito with asada for the meat.
Read moreI honestly was not a super big fan of the tacos, but they were still pretty tasty. The burrito though… one of the best things I’ve ever had. It was so delicious, and I will definitely be going back to get the burrito and try other menu items.
I highly recommend getting the AZ burrito if you go. It’s huge, almost the same size as my head, so you really get your money’s worth out of the burrito. It doesn’t sound as good as the tacos on paper, but it is 100% worth a try. Next time I will be getting the burrito with al pastor instead, because I think the al pastor had some of the best flavor out of the options.
Pros: Great menu options, Helpful staff, Reasonably priced
