Read moreVisited this Kerala gem last night, and it was a fantastic experience! While there weren’t tons of vegan options, the menu still offered plenty to enjoy. The food was fresh, vibrant, and absolutely delicious.
The Kappa Bonda (fried yucca balls) were so absurdly tasty that our party of three might have accidentally ordered four rounds. The Eggplant Theeyal small plate was a delightful surprise, with incredible flavor and texture, and the main curry dish rounded out the meal beautifully.
The service style is unique—no dedicated server—but the staff was attentive and fantastic throughout. And the drinks? Absolutely lit! Can’t wait to go back!
Pros: Flavors (fried yucca balla), Service, Weeknight parking was easy.
Cons: Gets crowded. Make a reservation for sure!

Make sure to get a reservation. Would leave 5 stars if I could- the service at this place is wonderful and so is the food. The mushroom mezhukkupurati in particular is out of this world, its rich and so flavorful. Vegan options are clearly marked and designed to be vegan (so there's no need to order a "veganized" dish that is simply just missing elements). There are two vegan mains, 3 small plates and both the jeera rice and appam are vegan. The atmosphere is pleasant and everyone who works there was so friendly. They have a no tipping policy and we were told by a server that the tip is factored into the price of every item so we already tipped by buying the food- though you can leave cash on the table if you want to. It seems they pay their employees well rather than expecting their customers to supplement bad wages.
