I tried food at the bark a couple of times- the first time the food was good and flavorful but a bit greasy, the second time the food still good but was much greasier. The dessert I tried (a cookie) was good but it had a little too much going on for my taste

Cool eclectic place with a nice unique menu as well as a bar with specialty drinks and a nice outdoor area. I had the Philly Cheese Steak and it was excellent, very flavorful. Wife had the Banh Mi and thought it was great, also with lots of flavor. Non Vegan cheese options. Everything made in house as well as deserts.

Stop by after I checked into my hotel. I ordered at the counter to go. The fried mushroom po boi was delicious. Perfect remoulade and soft baguette. Over balanced sandwich - the cook knows what they are doing.

We stopped here and although we just grabbed take out we got to wait for a bit and hear some of the comedy night which was a bonus. The Tofu Bahn Mi was AMAZING!!

The bark is a very different kind of place, in terms of the environment. I looveeee it, it’s so chill, the people that come in are from all kinds of back grounds. But there no judging!
Read moreThey have things like karaoke, comedy nights, bands that play. It’s a great spot to get drinks, some bomb vegan food, and relax. Even bring your dogs! Now the food... it’s so good, everything’s is made in house, and I’m pretty sure everything on the menu is already vegan, if not everything can be made vegan! They also have deserts that are delicious. This definitely a drop of mine forever!

The Bark is a cool place beautifully painted with murals and decorated with flyers of musical acts. We stopped in on our way through Tallahassee for some healthy eats. I got the Banh Mi sandwich and my daughter got the vegan BLT. Both sandwiches were delicious and served with an orange slice. All their food here is vegan. Good food served fast.

Stopped by on a trip through Tallahassee, well worth getting off the highway. Sunday brunch and the vegan biscuits and sausage gravy with scrambled tofu was outstanding. Will definitely eat here again anytime we’re in the area. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Great All Vegetarian and Vegan Spot - Edit
I love the folks at The Bark (previously Bread and Roses Kitchen). My favorite vegan entrees are their tofu bahn mi, sausage sandwich and their beet burger. Everything always tastes fresh and delicious and their restaurant has a funky vibe.
