Maple glazed waffle - Edit
Tried the maple glazed waffle, which was so decadent. Some of the best vegan desserts we've tried. (Luckily we don't live in the Denver area or we might weigh 500 pounds). Friendly staff as well.

Delicious Custom Cakes and More! - Edit
My wife ordered a custom cake for our 7 year old. I’m vegan and our daughter has a dairy sensitivity. The cake was vanilla with vanilla “butter” cream. The non-vegans didn’t know it was vegan and it was moist & delicious. My wife also picked up a “ham & cheese” croissant that was delicious and perfectly flaky. Looking forward to getting some pastries from here next time.

Love this! - Edit
I am a sweet girl and I was so pleasantly surprised and happy when I found this out this new bakery would be opening up. I love the concept & enjoy getting so many choices without being stressed about it being vegan or not. I got the red velvet cake w/ vanilla cream cheese frosting 10/10

Best Vegan Bakery in Denver - Edit
I've been researching bakeries for my upcoming baby shower and wanted a vegan cake. I decided to try this bakery out for my sister's birthday and it did not disappoint. As soon as you walk inside the bakery, you're greeted with familiar aromas of baked goods. I chose the strawberry crunch cake which is reminiscent of strawberry shortcake ice cream bar. Its a strawberry cake with golden oreos, freeze dried strawberries and fresh strawberries. The cake was super moist, with a tender crumb, and full of strawberry flavor as was the frosting. Its on the sweet side which makes it an indulgent treat. We loved it so much we can't wait to serve it at our upcoming baby shower. Overall a very positive experience from communication to pick up, I would highly recommend you check it out ; )

Much needed vegan dessert place! - Edit
Angie the owner is amazing and has been selling vegan cakes out of her house for quite some time until she saved up enough to open her own brick and mortar. I love the concept of the cake bar so much and everything is so fresh and delicious. My mom is extremely picky and basically writes off all vegan food except for Angie’s/cake bar. I think it’s really awesome that they sell vegan goods from other businesses as well. If you don’t like a lot of frosting like me, I recommend letting them know because the default is very thick frosting.

Cake Your Way! - Edit
What a tremendously cool concept! Cake that you can build the way you want. So many possibilities!
Read moreAngie makes delicious goodies and I'm thrilled to see her in a storefront! She also has a selection of other delights like vegan macarons and plant-based candy. AND she is supporting local artists by selling their creations in her shop alongside the desserts.
So if you've ever wished you could design the perfect piece of cake, now is your chance!
Pros: Delicious Goodies, ALL VEGAN, Wonderful Owner

Great Potential - Edit
Glad to see the space by City o City is still a vegan bakery! (Possible bone-char filtered sugar notwithstanding) Grabbed a couple of cupcakes here and feel like it could be great. Flavors are nice and frosting is delicious, but I wish I’d tried them in the bakery. Incredibly underbaked, they disintegrated into wet chunks as I cut them in half.
Read moreI’ll try again in a month or two, since maybe they’re just ironing out some kinks upon opening, but right now it just doesn’t feel too great to blow $6 each on fancy cupcakes that they didn’t bake long enough.

Exciting new spot! - Edit
Black, Women, Lgbtq owned VEGAN bakery.
Read moreThis place is so cute and has lots of options! (Cookies, croissants, macarons, pastries ). They do custom cakes cupcakes, and have a “ice cream-type cake-in-a-cup bar” in the store!
Very neat spot, next to City O’ City and Off the Bottle Refills, as well as a block from the Denver Art Museum.

Plant-based, but not vegan - Edit
This is a plant-based bakery, not a vegan bakery, as they use bone-char sugar.
Read moreFrom the FAQ on their site:
"SO WHY USE THE TERM PLANT-BASED AND NOT VEGAN?:
The sugar used isn’t always organic. Most vegans do not mind as bone char filtering is a byproduct (not the origin) and by not eating meat and animals products, the sugar industry will be forced to filter sugar by other means. As we grow this will change; we hope to lobby against the use of bone char in all American sugar refinement and make our own certified vegan cake mixes and frostings."
