We used to love la gula but so happy to see if lives on here. Mainly so happy to have the tiramisu again! All food was excellent, service was great, love the decor with the kids area and loved the piano music. All great, we will be back!

Came hungry :) - Edit
Came hungry, not all options were available so it took more time to choose.

For coffee lovers, the brew here is quite strong; if you prefer something milder, you might want to explore other drink options.
My personal highlight was the Glowing Guardian Salad—perfectly sweet and refreshing.
Also couldn't resist grabbing a Cinnamon Bun and an Apple Parcel to go.

Wonderful Xmas Lunch - Edit
Knowing they had recently opened and their first location is a hit, we booked this place for our Xmas lunch. As a result, our review is for the Xmas menu only served from 24-28 Dec. It was a set menu, which included glorious home comforts such as Yorkshire puds, cranberry sauce and mulled wine. Staff were fantastic and the live music was a hit. No doubt Hungry Tapir 2.0 will go from strength to strength in the new year.

Wonderful dining with small inconveniences - Edit
Went here with friends after we learned they recently opened. The restaurant is beautiful and the staff is super friendly and attentive. We ordered three starters and three main dishes. Actually almost everything was delicious. But with my particular main dish order, a fried coconut rice salad with vegan goat cheese, it went downhill. It came without rice, so only greens and the taste was not it at all. Unfortunately, we had to complain but they handled it like professionals. Immediately took the dish back to the kitchen and I was offered a dessert as compensation. I decided to get strawberry cheesecake and I asked if it's with peanut or walnut due to my allergy. They guaranteed it doesn't contain anything but cashews which is no problem for me. After having 2-3 bites I had a bad allergic reaction. The manager was still 100% convinced that the cake was peanut-free. He apologized many times and I felt really bad that we caused such an uncomfortable situation. My company also tried and finished the cake and was convinced that peanuts in tiny pieces are in the dough and the manager simply didn't know himself. Besides that we really had a wonderful dinner there.
