The Gem of Galway - Edit
I come here every time I'm back home in Ireland, so I don't know why I've taken so long to give it a review. The food is always superb. Today I had the mushroom burger and carrot cake. Both were super tasty. The burger was filling and thankfully isn't one of those processed fake meat alternative ones.

Amazing breakfast - Edit
We arrived very late for breakfast (it's until 11.45am) and they were out of beans. Although they managed to make us a delicious all vegan Irish breakfast.

Great vegetarian cafe with mostly vegan options - Edit
I returned here after a gap of 4 years. It was recommended to me by a vegetarian friend, and has stayed in my memory as a place to return to, and I'm glad I did. It's great to see even more vegan options now then before, but disappointing to see still a charge for plant based milk. I had the delicious full vegan breakfast which absolutely hit the spot, with lovely flavours, in particular the sourdough bread, homemade relish, tofu scramble, and pudding. Would definitely recommend! Hopefully in future it might become fully vegan and no charge for plant based milk, which is a vegan tax.

Best food experience we had in Galway - Edit
This place is so cosy and offers plenty of vegan food. The hot chocolate tastes amazing, but has a vegan-milk-fee of 20ct. We can recommend the Full vegan fry and especially, for some sweet finish, the carrot cake. The cream on top of it is crazy good.
Read moreWe also got some vegan scones for take away which were delicious.
Additionally it's cool, that they use vegan butter as the default (you get butter to the full vegan fry breakfast)
Pros: Nice atmosphere, Many vegan options, The hot chocolate + the carrot cake
Cons: Vegan-tax on plantbased milk

Amazing to get a full vegan breakfast - Edit
Amazing coffee and the food was delicious. However, I do think that it could have been hotter. But the bread they made the toast with was so tasty, they even had vegan butter. Scabled tofu was just perfect,

Best vegan food in Galway - Edit
Eaten here twice and there’s consistently good vegan wholefood choices. It’s not solely vegan but caters well for us. Plant-based sausage roll is a great takeaway. #Veganuary
