Go somewhere else

This place has such a great opportunity to be a good place for vegans but chooses not to be. It's right in a student/young area of Liverpool with vegans everywhere. But it seems like on the menu we were an afterthought. Bottles of cows milk on every table, urgh.

Pros: Nice place, Shows football , Good beers

Cons: Poor vegan options, Alternative milk options poor, Sausages cardboard

10/10 Vegan Breakfast!!🤤

I know for a long time the Tavern hasn’t had a full vegan breakfast option but now they do and it’s banging I love it so much. Will deffo be going back for more 😍 they had soya milk as a dairy alternative too.

portions too big for me

I asked for the bacon to be changed to a mushroom but the portions are too big for me but would be good if you are a student and who is mostly veg I suppose. I think they need to offer more porridge, granola , yoghurt smaller portions but I do like the atmosphere there as its like being on a night out but in the day

Still no vegan option

It’s neatly 2020 and there’s still no vegan option on the entire menu.
We used to go here all the time when we were vegetarian but I honestly dread coming now because there’s nothing.

Pros: Friendly staff

Cons: Not one vegan option

Not a great place for a vegan supper.

Several vegetarian options, but really no vegan options beyond water, onion rings, and fries. Might have to tell staff that sour cream also has dairy. Might try the vegan breakfast, but have not yet.

Pros: vegan breakfast

Cons: not really vegan friendly

Delicous, great atmosphere

The vegan breakfast was filling and satisfying, also ordered a side of fruit salad. There are lots of vegetarian options for breakfast, all being clearly marked with a V, but only the one vegan option. The place is very popular, almost always having a wait time for a table. I loved the deco and the atmosphere.. they even gave goodie bags to children. Staff was helpful and friendly.

Pros: Great vibe , good portions , yummy food

Cons: Would like to see more vegan breakfast options
