Terrible service and hair in food - Edit
We found a hair in our food, after showing the staff, they took our plate and came back to us after 5 minutes telling us that the chef was willing to remake our food but we had to wait after all the orders that had already come in, stupidly I had assumed it was the staffs mistake and it would be done first but there is a bit of a rush, but after 40 minutes I got up to pay for out drinks and leave, when I said to the staff that it is unusual to make customers food last after a mistake as it's normally done as a priority, and the staff replied with a possibly made up excuse of the fryer had to be reset, which would have been a good thing to tell your customers waiting for food. The staff didn't offer anything in return for this terrible service, I've worked at places where we have comped a whole meal for being 15 late, I wasn't looking for a handout just a little bit of understanding that we had been sitting for over an hour overall to eat breakfast before leaving.

Dissapointment - Edit
I originally ordered the mushroom pasta, but they had no vegan cream and so I had to decide on something else, which initially was very disappointing. By the time of me finding that out, our drinks had already come, and we were starving, so I chose to have the tomato pasta option instead. My smoothie was amazing, best tasting smoothie I've ever had, that being the lemongrass one, but my meal was just below par. The garlic bread had a strange taste and the pasta was bland. I wanted to like it, but I just unfortunately didn't and couldn't finish it either. I may have had a completely different experience, if not for the ingredient unavailability, who knows... but I wish I had. My boyfriend, a meat eater, enjoyed his wrap nonetheless.

Lovely vibe - Edit
Really warm and friendly cafe. I had the vegan fish and chips, best chips I've had in Torquay and the 'fish' - battered aubergine and courgette was really yum. They also had vegan wraps, burger, chilli, jacket potato and a milkshake.
