Authenthic chay food - Edit
The food we ordered was good. The fried rice was tasty. The local dish "cao lau" was a little bit disappointing but we can not compare with the original :D.

Good food at local prices. The menu has a couple more options now. We enjoyed the Pho but weren’t a big fan of the cao lầu. Owner was lovely.

A lot of reviews here are superior, but we found the food really average compared to other vegan places we visited in Vietnam. Prices are really good, but then again the same prices can be also found in much better establishments.

Tasty and cheap. I had the vegan pho (40k). Only complaint was with the vegan sausage which I found slightly odd.

You won't find a better value or a tastier vegan meal anywhere. I've travelled the world and this tiny little shop, which you'd easily walk past if you didn't know it was there, was simply incredible. We had some spring rolls(2 portions), Vietnamese mango salad, fried rice and 2 beers. It came to £6!!!!!!!!!!! Wow. So many incredible, fresh flavours, spice level spot on (some heat but not too much, though extra chilli is there if you want it).

There is so much good food in Vietnam but as a tourist it's also easy to spend a (comparatively) large sum on eating out if you go to more Western type places.
Read moreThen you have somewhere like this restaurant which is cheap, authentic, delicious and with lovely staff. The fact there were more locals than tourists is very telling. All dishes are 30k Vnd, with drinks very reasonably priced. The staff speak reasonable English and the menu is also in English.
If you are in Hoi An then this is a must try. Trust me, you won't be disappointed.

I've been on Vietnam for 2 weeks and this is the most satisfying pho I've had. More filling and substantial than others I've had and I was given a side of herbs (I think Vietnamese mint and another green). I recommend.

Family run, authentic Vietnamese roadside café that is 100% vegan. They have 4 dishes on the menu: pho, can lau, mixed salad and hoi an rice. I had the pho and it was delicious! Simple recipe but incredibly good. My non vegan boyfriend also gobbled his up! Also, it's super cheap!
