Delicious - Edit
We ate lunch here and it was really delicious. The soy milk was an interesting twist and our ramen dishes tasted flavourful. Would highly recommend.

Delicious food in a very informal atmosphere, a little cold in winter, slightly more expensive in terms of price

Order from QR code, menu is clear of what ingredients are in there, there are options for people who don’t take onion garlic and chives. Quick service, water and cutlery (fork and spoon) is provided. Close to Gion area

Best Dumplings - Edit
We had the best vegan dumplings here. The filling was delightful. We would definitely order these again. We also tried the ramen, though it wasn't our favorite. It was on the sweeter side and was missing savory notes to balance out the sweetness. We got a table at the last minute because someone didn't show up for their reservation so it was close to closing. We did have higher expectations based on the reviews. And perhaps its an acquired taste we're not used to. Its a super cute restaurant however with a variety of vegan options.

A pleasant surprise! - Edit
Visited on September 18, 2023. The ramen was such a lovely treat! We stopped here on a whim and didn’t expect to eat one of the most delicious ramen of our trip. We ordered the Hana and Gekka, which were both topped with dumplings and 15 kinds of veggies!
Read moreWe ordered:
- Soy milk ramen “Hana”
- Soy milk dandan noodle “Gekka”
- Seared soy milk cheeze on germinated fermented brown rice

Nice restaurant and food - Edit
Nice location and good food. Ramen compare to other ones wasn't a 10. The dessert was frozen and hard to eat. But good food generally.

Good but not great - Edit
I had high hopes for this place given the stellar reviews, but it fell short of my expectations. We ordered the HANA ramen, gyoza, croquettes, and the crème brûlée. Everything was pretty average except for the crème brûlée, which was delicious. Really liked the hint of matcha in it. I don't know what they used for noodles in the ramen here, but they were nonstandard and tasted different. I much prefer the regular kind. Prices were definitely on the higher side. The central location and consistent hours can't be beat though.

I loved the ramen here, it was exactly what we needed. It was also gluten free. The croquettes were good too, but a bit cold. They have cake but it’s frozen

So disappointed - Edit
First of all: i was really impressed of the amount of diverse vegetables and ingredients. It was really nice prepared.
Read moreBUT: the ramen are NO ramen in my opinion. There was almost no broth and the noodles were like spaghetti.
The broth tasted blend. Even with seasoning it was just okay.
The chocolate Creme brûlée was tasty but just a spoon full.
The first time we saw the prices we were SHOCKED. Even in tokyo we ate ramen for half the price and they tasted delicious.
The ramen here are too expensive for what they offer.
It was really disappointing and i don't get all the good reviews.
Pros: Taste of Creme brûlée, Order with QR-Code
Cons: Too expensive, Taste was just okay

Slow down the hype - Edit
This restaurants reviews hype it up way too much.
Read moreThe soy meat bowl is way too spiced up. The vegan nuggets were underwhelming.
The ramen were fine but nothing special.
The steamed gyoza were mediocre and still cold on the inside. The croquettes were decent but I had better.
Props for the creme brulee tho.
I‘d give 3 stars if the prices were reasonable. 1.750¥ for 5 Nuggets or ~1.000¥ for 4 steamed gyozas. Not to mention the drink prices or the ramen themselves. I am not a person that is cheap and doesn‘t pay for good food, but this was way too unreasonable.
Pros: Good creme brulee
Cons: Way too hyped - don‘t expect the best ramen of JP, High prices

If you are downtown Kyoto and nothing else works for you - Edit
I've been here twice and had the same kind of experience both times. The ramen was tasty, but the service was amaturish and slow. For example I ordered a soft drink and it came in a glass full of ice, leaving about half a glass of drink. When I asked for the drink without ice, I got half a glass of drink with no ice.

We tried pretty much all the menu including desserts and it was all absolutely amazing.
Cocktails were very good too!
We got there for an early dinner and luckily we didn't had to wait because in no time there was a massive queue outside.
Staff was super friendly despise being under a lot of stress by the build-up queue and wait.
Pros: Cool venue and friendly staff, All the food and desserts were amazing
Cons: Get there early or expect long queues

We tried vegan Ramen in several places and this was by far the best for us. Really delicious with a lot of fresh ingredients. The Japanese lemonade they had was quite expensive but funny to try (interesting closing mechanism)

Solid No-no sense Vegan Meals - Edit
Simple small shop, you order through a QR code, and then pay at the front on your way out. I love this style, none of the time wasting back and forth of being waited on.
Read moreFood came out fairly quickly. No mistakes in our order. Food was solid, it didn't blow me away but it was definitively good. My partner got ramen, which I didn't prefer but I got gyoza which were delicious.
Water is self serve. The bathroom is bare bones so mentally prepare yourself if you want to wash up. (Bring your own towel).
Pros: Gyoza, Self service , Quick
Cons: Bare-bones Bathroom , Tight dining space, Staff are curt

Nice but long wait - Edit
Great little place but perhaps arriving at 7:15pm was too late. Only has approx 10 seats. Chef took our order before we were seated which sped the process up but it all felt a little rushed as we didn’t sit until 8pm and they close at 8:30pm. The soups were lovely but not the best we’ve had in Japan. They were beautifully presented and served with gyoza though! We also had the croquettes that were particularly wonderful. We split a sparkling sake that was a bit on the sweet side. Nice meal overall.

I got the Hana ramen and took their advice and got a side of rice with cheese. I also got an order of the croquettes. The croquettes were amazing! Definitely try them! The ramen was tasty. I got a side of spicy oil and made the mistake of putting it all in, which made it super spicy. But it was still good!

Good choice - Edit
We had the Hana ramen and gyoza and thoroughly enjoyed both. You are given some spices and can add different taste if you like as there is an English discription of how they flavour your food.. staff were lovely and friendly and nice service. You can’t book so advisable to go during the day when it is less busy.
