I wanted to order the vegan chicken burger but my friend said it is very dry. So we ordered the original it was very good n cheesy. Plus the soft scream is not too sweet.

Burgers are delicious - Edit
Their housemade patties are delicious - superb texture and taste. Some say it's fast food but the ingredients are all healthy so I wouldn't call it junk food.

I came in by for breakfast after strolling around the neighborhood. The sausage egg sandwich is eerily similar to an Egg McMuffin. I requested that they take out the spice (Frank’s hot sauce I’m told) from the sauce.

I've been to V Burger a few times, and from the decoration to the seating, this is a classic burger joint that makes a great burger - and best of all - everything's vegan! Great portion sizes, plenty of options. Lots to enjoy! They also have vegan chocolate and ice cream! THey let you have a chocolate dipped cone with chocolate ice cream.

We are here many times during our stay in Calgary! We tried the breakfast wraps, bacon and egg muffins, buffalo chicken burger and the BBQ bacon burger. All super tasty. The sauces (garlic one was our fave) were to die for!

Get The Chick’n Sandwich - Edit
I researched vegan eateries before planning a trip to Calgary, Alberta. I saw V Burger and added them to the list. While out on Canada Day, we saw they had a food truck in a park. The burger was amazing. THEN we saw them again at the rodeo, and I decided to try the chick’n sandwich. It was literally THE BEST chick’n (or chicken) sandwich I had ever eaten. My non-vegan husband tried a bite and got one for himself as well.

We travel to the mountains a few times a year, and take the detour downtown for V Burger, worth the traffic and dance of finding parking. Definitely worth it! Wish there was one in Edmonton!

I might just have to drive back to Calgary for another cherry cheesecake vmix... It was kinda like a DQ blizzard, but infinitely better. The rest of the food we had here was fine. I had a chicken sandwich and my friend had a burger of some kind. Inexpensive, fast, vegan junk food. But the ice cream... Wow.

Service was fast and friendly and patio seating (late august) was great. The falafel burger was delicious and fresh tasting while the fries with gravy and tater tots with garlic vsauce were delicious.

We came from Wpg And had to try this place out. It didn’t disappoint. The BBQ bac’n burger was amazing and the cauliflower bites hit the spot. My son enjoyed the chic’n nuggies so much we had to order some to take back to the hotel for later.

V burger has basic but good food, reasonable service, and a generic modern aesthetic. This place feels extremely safe in all of the chosen elements but somehow lacking.
Read moreI was able to try two mains: the ‘Cheddar Melt’ and the ‘Creamy Mushroom Burger.’ The Cheddar Melt was the best item I had at V Burger. The melt was lead by the flavours of the pickles and pickled jalapeños making the whole melt tart. The patty was slightly smokey and the bread was soft leaving the entire melt with an uninspired, soft mouth-feel. Though the star of the show was the cheese which was phenomenal, being some of the best melted cheese I’ve had. All-and-all the melt was a throughly enjoyable experience. The Creamy Mushroom Burger felt as though it only exists and nothing more. What I mean is it is an absolutely forgettable burger with nothing that held my attention for any significant time. The mushroom flavour was subdued in favour of the cheez that didn’t stand out. Making this dish rather bland.
I also got to try a couple of sides: the poutine and the onion rings. The onion rings were so crispy on the outside and the onion was perfectly cooked and soft leading to a succulent onion ring. The poutine is served with fries or tater tots (I had the tater tots) and it was a bit bland. Poutine should be an explosion of umami and the fries should be crispy to contrast the gooey accents of the cheese but, this is not what happened. The cheese was completely evaporated into the gravy and the tater tots were soft making it seem like a warm gravy soup that was verging on unpleasant.
The service was kind but inattentive leaving to a middling service. The establishment was wonderfully clean and the decor felt rather basic for an ‘upscale’ burger place but, I did particularly enjoy their choice in colour which lead to a nice levity of the entire restaurant. I hope this place can refine some of its rougher edges because then it would be a smash hit IMO.
