Our favourite restaurant in Athens - Edit
We ended up going back several times during our week-long stay in Athens cause we just loved the food here so much. There is so much to choose from and every single dish we tried was amazing. Service is friendly and fast. Would definitely visit again if we're back in Athens!

Vegan Food for Vegans and Non Vegans - Edit
Food was imaginative and delicious- best cashew feta cheese ever! My group was mostly non vegans and everyone enjoyed the food - the pizza was better than traditional Greek pizza from one of the non vegan diners. Accommodating to allergies and larger parties.

Delicious and very friendly - Edit
At Veganaki you can enjoy traditional Greek food in vegan. Everything was delicious, the atmosphere is cosy and the staff was very friendly. I could feel how they really care about creating a nice experience. Thanks a lot and thank you for offering a "safe haven" for vegan-living people in Athens.

Vegan Greek food - Edit
Gladly this restaurant has veganized most of the traditional Greek dishes. The food was great and the price was fair. Strongly recommend if you are in Athens and want to try traditional food.

Delicious! - Edit
We got their appetizer sampler plate and everything was yummy! I especially liked the tzatziki sauce. It was very fresh tasting. The one thing is their tabolueh is mostly tomato and not very much parsley. The cashew feta cheese is delicious! I also got the Mousaka, which was yummy, too. Although I probably wouldn’t order it again (my taste). The tiramisu was very good. It does have a strong coffee flavor, if you like that you will probably like this.

The staff was very friendly, and the menu has many interesting options. The food I ordered was good, but I didn't fall in love with any of it. I would definitely like to come back and try more things.

Delicious and huge range - Edit
Came here just before 1130pm and thought we would be able to eat in still (as the kitchen closes at 1130) but was told it was takeaway only. We waited at the outdoor seating then asked if there's a park nearby, the guy told us we were welcome to eat at the outdoor table, he just couldn't give us our food on plates, just takeaway containers, which was fine with us.
Read moreIt was so tough to decide what to order from their huge range, and so much sounded so good. In the end we got the pastitsio (only because we had had moussaka earlier that day), greek salad, and air fried potatoes.
The pastitsio had a moist creamy bechamel (it had a mash potato texture), and was very enjoyable.
The Greek salad was ok, the tomatoes were abit floury, and the cashew feta was ok, not very flavourful.
The airfried potatoes came with what was described as homemade mayonnaise, but it tasted like a very eggy hollandaise sauce, and was DELICIOUS. I LOVED it, but I love eggy tasting things. The potatoes were surprisingly moist as well.
I would love to come back to try the moussaka, and carbonara, amongst other things.
Pros: Pastitsio, Air fried potatoes

Delicious food - Edit
I loved the vegan feta, it was definitely the standout for me. Mostly Greek themed food. I wasn’t a massive fan of the meatballs but I still appreciated them and ate them all. The feta had a wow factor, and so did the vegan souvlaki that I got which was very good, even with the gluten free wrap. 4.6 gets rounded up to 5

Amazing vegan greek restaurant - Edit
What an amazing experience! We had a super tasty dinner at Veganaki with Tsatsiki and Fava Beans for starter, then Souvlaki and Moussaka and the Tiramisu and a Chocolate-Nut-Mousse for desert. All the dishes were a dream, the staff was very friendly and helpful and the prices reasonable. We will definitely come back and can highly recommend this place!

Recommended by our driver! - Edit
Seeing the ancient sites in Athens and our wonderful driver suggested this spot since he knew I was vegan. I had seen it previously here on Happy Cow and was delighted that it fit into our itinerary. Going by other users’ comments I indulged in the Veganki Special. OMG. Delicious and enough for 2, maybe (with an appetizer or dessert). I also had my first freddo cappuccino. Wow, so decadent.

Amazing souvlaki - Edit
We loved the place. We both got souvlaki, me in a wrap and my friend on the plate, and it was delicious. Also tried their Greek salad with cashew feta cheese and I got as close as I've ever gotten to crying over tomatoes, it was so good. Friendly staff, you can fill up your water bottles and bathrooms are clean. Only downside I can see is the location next to a big road, but you can always sit inside.
