Good choice next to Casa de Campo - Edit
Located in a typical market with awesome ambience, this place has enough options for vegans, even a really tasty dessert.
Read moreStaff was very friendly and food a little bit hot. To be honest, I can't stand with spicy food and could have it. So, I guess there will be no problems for the rest of people.
I just need to mention, and I told the supervisor, that the brown rice, it is great it is brown, but was awful, very badly cooked and totally bland.
Apart from that, I loved the experience. We had both vegan tacos (4 units serve each), pibil and tinga, curry and a dessert. Enough food to share for 2.
I really recommend it, especially if you want to experience having meal in a typical market and take a walk around the beautiful Casa de Campo.

Amazing - Edit
The guy speaks amazing English and explained the dishes and I picked something I've never had, Chinese aurbergine dish. It was the best vegan food I've had so far in Spain!
Read moreJust unfortunate it's located in the hall where it stinks of fish.
Pros: Friendly staff
Cons: Stinks of fish from the fish counter nearby

Mexican food and more - Edit
Super tasty mexican food with some other dishes from different cuisines around the world. Staff is super nice and willing to help, you'll have to ask them which dishes are vegan because they're not labelled. There're only three tables but there's more room to eat at a counter, where we sat at. Two drinks, tacos for two, curry "meat"-balls to share and an awesome vegan dessert made from grapes was less than 14€ per person. which is a fair price considering all what we ate. The market still has a lot of traditional businesses running, so don't get surprised for all the butcher's and fishmonger's around because there are quite a few.

Comida vegana con influencias mexicanas... ¡y más! - Edit

Sabrosa cocina mexicana, creativa, divertida y... ¡vegana! - Edit

Good food but overpriced - Edit
The confusion here comes from the fact that there are 2 places with separate menus sharing the same kitchen. So there is the Vegicano menu which is vegetarian and then another place which serves meat and fish.
Read moreWe were a bit disappointed to find that it wasn't an all vegan place considering that was how it was represented online. At least all the main dishes were vegan (except one which the waitress told us had "a little bit of honey" - ok, either it has it, or it doesn't.) None of the desserts are vegan except soy yogurt with granola. Also, the menu online is somewhat different from the current menu.
The dishes were quite good - delicious mole, tacos, and another Mexican style dish. The cook knows what they're doing and has experience with Mexican food, which can be hard to find done well in Madrid.
However, the portions are tiny for the prices, which we found surprising given the location out of the center. For example, one small taco costs €2.50 and a small plate of eggplant in mole sauce was €8. Really too much. There are all vegan places in the center charging way less. The food isn't very filling either. We left still hungry and we spent €50 for 4 people.
While I love to support new veg businesses and I was really excited to try this place, I simply can't recommend it due to the high prices.
Pros: Tacos with real corn tortillas, mole
Cons: expensive small plates not all vegan

Good food but small portions - Edit
Good vegan/vegetarian food. Menus for 10 euros available. But the portions (raciónes) are super little, the sice is comparable to tapas.
