Good vegan food, lots of options - Edit
Verdeando is the only vegan restaurant in the area. They have a ton of options, although I would recommend choosing two or three per person excluding dessert. Most of their dishes I would share. The portion sizes are on the small side, but bigger than tapas. Their desserts are phenomenal, their white lady and coffee ice cream are recommended.

Maybe my expectations were too high based on previous reviews but as much as the staff and restaurant was great, the food was a wee bit average.
Read moreI was accompanied by my six year old who is generally pretty easily pleased but she didn't even eat all her cake!
She had the no Pollock wrap which had four bits of mock chicken in a spelt wrap with some very limo veg. I'm not sure if the veg was meant to be cooked or raw, it was neither. Perhaps it was grilled in the wrap but it left it limp and bland. Warm soggy courgette, carrot, lettuce and onion was pretty unappealing and she struggled to eat it.
I had the stuffed aubergine which had too much going on and lacking and flavour a bit of a Mish mash. The chips were great.
My truffles were decent but the youngsters cake wasn't that great, although it wasn't, it tasted like a canned cream and just wasn't that satisfying.
Although the staff were great our main course took over an hour and we left the restaurant after two hours, I'm known for being a gutsy bastard so I'm not a slow eater.
I guess everyone was made from scratch but my stuffed aubergine was 9 euro and not satisfying.
Second chance tonight proved successful. I loved the staff the first time and they were great again.
The food was much quicker and really good.
Homemade guacamole was great and really well presented. Texas burger and yuca fries were really good and would recommend.
Raw tiramisu was chocolate heaven and light and satisfying.
I might get a third visit.
And I did and now love this place, people and food.
Pros: staff, 100% vegan, burgers are great.

Read moreI talked with the owner of this restaurant and she explained her vision of the business, shows me the kitchen, the ingredients... it is incredible to see how much they care about every detail, even the water they use to cook.
Depending on the moment of the year, you can see some of the ingredients, for exemple the mushroom "exposed" in a refrigerated "expositor" . It is awesome to see it being selected for you to eat.
Even the wood of the furniture is been taken care of...
It almost a luxurious vegan macrobiotic restaurant. I say almost because of the location, everything else is really "5 stars " vegan...

Fantastic all-vegan restaurant with a wide range of options including vegan chicken, fish, prawns, pate and cheese. I had courgette spaghetti with cashew cheese and nut-based sauce which was fantastic. We also had a good lasagne, and a 'quiche' which was just leek in cheese, with no pastry! Bit strange as vegan pastry is widely available. The fries were beautiful and I had a gorgeous chocolate mint cake. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Beach is literally around the corner. Loved it.

Organic food 30 meters from the beach - Edit
We went here a couple of days ago for dinner. The place is really nicely located in a small "centro comercial" at te beach near Denia. They offer many different foods and drinks from fresh-cut coconut and lassi over quesadillas, crocetas, burgers and lasagna to really tasty pies and ice cream. The food is as far as I could see all organic and prepared on-site and many dishes use wholefoods where possible. I can especially recommend the lasagna and the desserts.

Wow! This place is trying really hard!! All the extras like raw options and no added sugar. Heaps of substitute meats all over the menu. Soup of the day was really nice. No decaf coffee, but treated to a 100% pineapple candy with the bill! Super cute!

Para Veganos y no Veganos. Cocina creativa bien elaborada. Carta muy variada para los que disfrutan comiendo algo más que verdura. No te pierdas el pescadito frito, los quesos, las gambas, el no-pollo y las fantásticas hamburguesas, todo 100% vegetal y exento de sufrimiento. Por lo demás, entorno agradable y atención inmejorable. No le pongo la quinta estrella por unos precios algo elevados.

Read moreThe food was delicious, prepared with love and everything. Nothing to complain about! But... the prices are way too high. I had to pay 2,5€ for a very small portion of aioli (for example). In total we've payed about 50-60€ for two persons and were hungry after all.
