The best vegan reuben - Edit
Finally tried the vegan reuben and it was incredible! I went back later in the day to get some vegan breakfast sausages and vegan chorizo to go. Both delicious!

Go-To Sandwich Shop - Edit
We love all of their sandwiches!! Even my non-vegan family members love it. I especially love the ability to buy just vegan lunch meat from them as well. Very convenient for lunch. The smoked turkey and ham are my personal favorites. They do a great thanksgiving offering!!

I wanted to like this place - Edit
I was excited to try this place. But it was not good and left a weird sour after taste in my mouth. Mac and cheese taste like it was made with ass daiya cheese. Their sandwich mayo was gross and probably what caused the sour taste. The “meat” was probably the best part but a little heavy on the liquid smoke flavor.
Read moreOnly ate half the food.
Next time I would purchase the deli meat by itself and make something at home with it.

Cute yet unpretentious - Edit
I love the authentic vibe and concept at this little shop. It feels like an old school deli but everything is vegan and made in-house. You can grab and go packaged cheeses and deli meat already sliced and there is also a small menu of items. The shop is very small so seating is limited.
Read morePros: Items already packaged to go, House-made cheese and meats

Our new go to in Columbus! - Edit
Columbus is not lacking vegan options! Our normal go to place was closed on New Year's Day but Vida's was open so we rolled with them. With their promising menu we decided to indulge and why not have lunch along with ordering your dinner since we are out traveling home for later. We were not disappointed.
Read moreWith it being New Year's day we each ordered Vida's Reuben and devoured them before thinking about trying to take a picture. My girlfriend likes to avoid rye bread but walked away impressed. IMO this was the best vegan Rueben I have tried to date!
She ordered their Philly Cheesesteak and I ran with The California as our take away dinner on the highway. Both of us agreed that both of these sandwiches were great as "cold" sandwiches and could only think about how these would of been fresh up!
As mentioned there are quite a few options in Columbus but Vida's is worth the excursion!
Pros: Great Selection, Easy Access
Cons: Not located in my hometown

Best in Columbus - Edit
The plant based meat is the best I’ve EVER had. You can taste the love and care that he puts into the food.
Read moreHe was so amazing that he sold me a “Reuben kit” and I made it for thanksgiving. Vegans and non vegans LOVED it. I ate Reuben’s for breakfast for 4 days and the beauty was, since I had the fixings, I could make them one at a time.
I had the beef and cheddar Sammy today on my quest for more Reuben supplies and potato salad. I was eating the potato salad in the car without a fork on my drive home.
Do yourselves a favor; check this place out. Don’t buy the Reuben kit and cut off my supply tho - I’ll be ordering that on the regular. I’m so so happy with this place.

Turkey pesto melt was delicious, the bacon was not - Edit
I went with an omni friend to Vida's and we both got the turkey pesto melt, it was amazing. It was genuinely one of the best sandwiches I've had and my omni friend had the same opinion. Both the cheese and meat had great texture and flavor.
Read moreI got an order of the brown sugar peppered bacon and the texture and taste were very disappointing. I was unable to finish it and ended up throwing it out.
The shop itself had little seating indoors, they did have outdoor seating that was great.
Pros: Sandwich was great, Service was quick
Cons: The bacon wasn't good

Love this place! - Edit
Vidas has become a go to in our household! We love that there's so many different options for both hot and cold sandwiches, that you can order just a half if you're not so hungry, and all of their delicious sides. Each of the sandwiches and sides that we have ordered have been great and we truly feel like they've taken note of reviews since they opened and have worked to make each of their offerings even better with time.
Read moreAdditionally they also have the typical butcher cheeze and protein display which is super fun to see all veganized! I have heard though some less than great reviews of their cheeze blocks that you can purchase by weight.
Wait time has been normal to fast each time we've visited.
Limited parking, but has not presented an issue to us yet.
Indoor and outdoor seating is available, but only a couple of tables are inside. Both high and low tops.
Everything is packed to go.
Pros: Quick

AMAZING - Edit
I went in here yesterday not knowing what to expect. A lot of places add way too much salt to there vegan meats etc. but when I tried the cold cut turkey omg 😍 it tasted definitely unlike any other vegan turkey I’ve had. The potato salad is also so good. Tastes smoky. Just the right flavors. So glad this place exists and will become one of my regular vegan places to shop!

The Reuben is OK - Edit
I enjoyed the food but it left a little bit to be desired. The Reuben was a tad bland for my taste, but it wasn’t far off from being 5 stars. Maybe a tangier sauce and more sour kraut.

Great when you want something hearty - Edit
Tried this with my partner and we were both please with our sandwiches. The main reason they didn't get 5 stars is because their sides, specifically the mac and cheese, were disappointing.

Good all-vegan option in Grandview - Edit
This is definitely a good place with a lot of promise. I’ve had their reuben, hot ham and cheese, and BLT sandwiches. So far the ham and cheese was the best. The reuben did not skimp on the sauerkraut or the thousand island, which I find a lot of places have done. I’ve also tried the potato salad and roasted red pepper soup, and both were excellent.
Read moreThe setup is a bit awkward because of the design on that space, and they could really use some more space and employees to help with small rushes. Be prepared to stand in line for longer than you might expect. They’re pretty quick about getting you your order once you pay, though.
What keeps me from giving it a higher rating is that the “meats” don’t really seem to stand out much. They could use a little more flavoring. I think the bacon on the BLT was good in this regard, but the corned beef on the Reuben didn’t taste like much. (I might also have high standards. Seitan’s Realm’s reuben is scary good.)
Pros: Lots of different options!, Quick service after ordering, Decent prices, good portions
Cons: Setup is a little awkward, but it’s working, Mock meats could use some tweaking
