Great slice - Edit
I went just after 11:00 AM and got a slice fresh out of the oven. It was a good size, came with fresh basil on top, and was greasy but on a good way. Good amount of vegan cheese. I’d definitely recommend, especially with such a convenient location. Shout out to them for having a Happy Cow sticker in the window, or I wouldn’t have noticed them!

Great pick me up and fast service restaurant that’s perfect from walking between port authority and penn station. Best vegan pizza I’ve had (and I’ve had a lot of vegan pizzas) no place to sit down, but to go it’s the best!

Something for everybody. GREAT NYC slice vegan and non vegan pizza. Not alot of inside space to eat, but just enough to pull up and smash a few slices. Outdoor tables as well. Casual, clean and TASTY!

This was delicious. I usually hate vegan cheese so pizza is always out. I took a chance and was thrilled. Completely melted, thin crust and saucy with fresh basil on top. Just like NY should be. Well done Vito’s!

I had a slice of their vegan cheese with basil sprinkled on top-only one that was available. It was cooked to a perfection and probably the best tasting pizza I’ve ever had, being from San Diego that offers a ton of options.

I recommend calling in advance to see if they have vegan slices available when you want to stop by. I had a vegan cheese slice and one with vegan pepperoni (ask them to add pepperoni if you don't see it in the case). Pretty good NY style slices, but I slightly prefer the vegan slices at the nearby Pizza Suprema - they have a wider selection.

In need of an NYC slice, HappyCow directed us to here. My partner is omni so had what he wanted, whilst I tried the vegan slice and also the V and gluten free Sicilian. Both were delicious! The cheeze they use tastes fantastic, and the GF base was actually a highlight, I’d have no idea it was Gf! Very decent pricing as well, would highly recommend!!

I've been craving a New York pizza all day but wasn't sure where to get one. It wasn't till I got back to my hotel I thought to check Happy Cow and voila! Turns out this place is a 3min walk away. My partner (who is not normally vegan but is doing #Veganuary) went and got us a vegan slice each and my oh my it did not disappoint. The dough was delicious, it had lovely big puffy crusts and the vegan cheese and basil were really good. Even my partner thought so! Now I need to resist getting one every night before bed for the next week 😅 #Veganuary

No vegan slices when I got here today - Edit
This is small place offers vegan pizza made with Pleese cheese, as well as gluten free pizza, with outdoor seating. I was eager to try a vegan slice, so I decided to check it out. However, when I arrived at this place around lunchtime, they had no vegan slices, and they told me that none was in the oven and were not planning on having any that would be ready soon, either--so I went next door to Sushi Star for lunch.
Read moreIf you are in the area, it wouldn't hurt to see if they have happen to have any vegan slices--and if they do, you can give them a better rating to counteract mine. Otherwise, if you want to go to a place place that you can be more sure will have vegan slices, you might check out NY Pizza Suprema on 31st and 8th.
