Great coffee but disappointing food - Edit
Lovely little setting with cushions and swings giving the cafe a Bali feel. Very unique and delicious coffees. The salted Himalayan coffee is a must try! It seems as though everything has gotten sweeter though.
Read moreI have always loved Wave but unfortunately their food has gone downhill.
Like other reviews say, the vegan salmon bagel was very disappointing. It didn’t taste realistic and was very overpriced for the size. The almond croissant was very hard and didn’t taste fresh. Both sausage rolls were very tasty though!
Pros: Great location and setting with outdoor seating , Lovely coffees
Cons: Pretty disappointing food overall

Exciting vegan food options! Pricey though :( - Edit
I got the vegan carrot lox bagel and was quite disappointed as it had no fishy taste at all, nice vegan cream cheese though. The matcha was small and quite expensive. My friend got pancakes which I think was good value for money, if compared to the small bagel lol

Pros: 100% vegan, Interesting menu, Cool outdoor seating

good, but.. - Edit
The little cafe is really cute, in a quiet courtyard. The interior is nice and the music was really great and fitting for a Sunday morning. However, the croissant and the pain du chocolat were both really dry and cold. I really didn't think that was ok. I had much better vegan croissants at Pret yesterday, and these looked so much bigger and more promising. So that was disappointing.
Read moreThe other stuff we had was fairly tasty and good, avo toast, mushroom roll and the buddha bowl, but it is all a little bit overpriced.
Pros: lovely music and vibe, all vegan, some tasty stuff
Cons: dry cold croissants :(, expensive

Absolutely in love with this little cafe. Great interior design but also outside seating is lovely in summer. They have a great selection of breakfast and brunch options as well as amazing pastries. Would recommend their chocolate or almond croissant!

Birthday breakfast! - Edit
I went for breakfast on my birthday and got coffee and a pain au chocolat. The pain au chocolate was HUGE and so so yummy!! And the coffee was good too. The decorations are so lovely and there were so many options. A very hackney feeling cafe, if that makes sense.

Yummy raw peanut butter caramel slice - Edit
We went for cake here in the afternoon. The cafe is set in a quiet backyard and has a super chill vibe. We tried 3 different cakes (lemon cheesecake, peanut butter caramel, and the salted chocolate brownie). All were good, the peanut butter caramel was excellent. The lemon cheesecake could have been less sweet.

My favourite cafe in London 🥰 - Edit
I live close to WAVE so have been several times for brunch or simply for a coffee and snack. Everything I’ve had has been delicious! I especially love the peanut butter lattes and berry pancakes topped with ice cream. I’d start every day at WAVE if my budget allowed it 😂🥰

Chill café with great dishes - Edit
I’d heard many good things about Cupcakes and Shhht, so WAVE café has been on my list for ages. When I finally visited yesterday, my expectations were not disappointed!
Read moreThe atmosphere is fabulous: It’s very chill and definitely Bali-inspired. It’s easy to spend a whole morning or afternoon there, just hanging out.
Their food is delicious, too! We sampled their berry pancakes and their “salmon” bagel – superb! However, I’d say that their prices are on the more expensive end of the spectrum, but what do you expect from such a trendy hangout?
Nevertheless, I saw so many pretty and tasty-looking things yesterday that I imagine I will be back to try more items from their menu soon.
