I had always a short waiting time.
There is a third branch of Wen Cheng at a less busy road (the calm end of Simon-Dach-Straße).

If you don't come during the main dinner hours, the wait is not as long. During the meal noone is rushing you and the service is really fast.

To be fair, the hand pulled noodles taste really great. I just had a delivery because I don‘t cue an hour for food.
Read moreThough after my meal I didnt feel so well in my stomach. i did not choose a very spicey option but it was very oily and there was a lot of red that looked like dried chilly. Basically the sauce ehich was waay too much and waaay too oiley wasnt a sensation to me.
I havent tried the other vegan option. I would give it another go but might take a while as there are way better restaurants that I dont have to wait in line for.
I wish I‘d knew why it‘s so hyped?!?

Food was super yummy, service quick and nice. As we got there just as the restaurant opened we where lucky and didn't have to wait in the queue that got long soon after we where seated.

I really like their noodles. It’s always very tasty but in my opinion it’s a bit pricey, the queue is always annoying as f*ck (especially when you’re hungry)and it’s very very loud inside. It almost feels like visiting Berlin Hauptbahnhof. So eating inside takes away a lot of the joy you’d have while eating those delicious noodles and you don’t want to spend a lot of time there.

There was an expected queue, that didn’t take too long (Wednesday) and there is a Späti near so we could wait with a beer.
Read moreI wasn’t expecting much after seeing the menu, and went with high recommendations from friends. The noodles were truly amazing and I bet I’ll be craving that in each noodle place I go from now one. The seasoning was on the spot, spicy in the right amount for me and great tofu.

Don’t get me wrong: The food was absolutely delicious. But I don’t know if I’d queue up an hour before the opening hour again just to sit inside, eating noodles while all people outside are watching me through the window. It felt rushed and loud and very hyped. Maybe that’s just not for me.

Read moreI got the aubergine and minced vegan meat ones. Perfect amount of spice, an explosion of flavors with a very nice, spicy kick.
They are quite greasy but that’s part of the greatness.
You can also get the mild version if you don’t like spicy food.
A little bit on the pricier side but honestly so worth it! #Veganuary

Wir haben zwar gewartet, aber man kommt relativ zügig dran, da das Essen schnell serviert wird. Es gibt im Grunde die Auswahl zwischen Auberginen und Pilz-Tofu Nudeln, beide waren super lecker. Ich fand die Schärfe perfekt, meiner Begleitung war es einen ticken zu scharf. Achtung: Knoblauchfahne nach dem Essen ist garantiert!

I went there a minute before the opening on a Saturday evening and only stood in line for a few minutes. The food was served quickly and it was delicious. The service was friendly and attentive.
Read moreI ordered the noodles with a medium level spiciness and it was quite spicy. It was super delicious and it didn't have boring ingredients to make the dish look full or colorful, every part tasted good and fit the other parts. I also recommend ordering the bun, it was sooo good

Sehr geile Nudeln mit ordentlich frischem Knoblauch und die Schärfe ist sehr angenehm. Es ist Schärfe mit geilem Geschmack und nicht einfach nur Schmerzen wenn ihr wisst was ich meine. Ich hatte Schärfegrad "asian spicy" aber man kann auf Nachfrage auch schärfer bestellen.

These noodles are absolutely amazing. Every bite is full of flavor and everything is seasoned perfectly. This was my first time trying hand pulled noodles and in just one bite it became one of my favorite dishes - the eggplant was to die for, the broth was heavenly and the noodles were just perfect. I can’t wait to eat this again.

I made hand-pulled noodles once and deemed them a failure as I found them to be too thick, but the noodles at Wen Cheng were exactly the same, so they didn't quite meet my expectations. Quite a lot of vegan options, the broth is well flavoured, the tofu is juicy, but there are so many places in Berlin where you can get an amazing meal for less than 10 €.

Had a spicy and garlicky noodle bowl and the tofu bao bun. Both were delicious and super fresh. It is really spicy so beware if you can’t handle spice! 10/10 for me.

They have few vegan options and noodles were tasty. It's quite small place and it's not possible to book, therefore waiting time can be quite long. In winter probabaly you will be sitting outside as inside has even longer waiting time. Spicy noodles were indeed very spicy 🌶

Half of the menu is vegan, the other half has meat. The noodles are freshly made and are really good, as well as the tofu and sauce. I went for spicy (3 out of 4) and was quite hot, but not to the point of covering flavors. The major problem for me was the amount of garlic, which is extreme. Was very dominant and I had garlic fueled burps and I was unapproachable for a day due to the garlic breath capable of killing a grown bear.

The noodles are very tasty and something I had never had before. The tofu is mind blowing, fantastic taste.
Read moreOver the last few months the hype has grown too big though, so I cannot recommend going in the evening. People queue from 20 minutes before they open, as they don’t take reservations, even when it’s freezing cold and most seats are outside.
If you want to try it, go during lunch time and don’t waste your time waiting.

We had the Biang Biang Tofu & Shitake and it was really delicious. Not extremely spicy (I could have handled more), a great balance of flavors. The noodles themselves are hand pulled and I think 1 dish is made with only one or two really long noodles, which makes it a bit difficult and messy to eat with chopsticks (but still fine).
Read moreWe arrived half and hour before lunch closing time and there was a pretty long line before us. Nonetheless we were seated and when we left, shortly after the supposed closing time, there were still a lot of people there, so they don't seem to be really strict about opening hours.
The service was really friendly and the staff quite international (i.e. English speaking).
There were 2 other vegan options and we'll have to go back to try them!
