Plenty of options - Edit
They have plenty of vegan options, even though it’s a smaller whole foods. They sell a vegan Ban mi at their lunch station, which is very nice.

Lots of options in grocery - okay hot/cold bar - Edit
As always whole foods is great for produce and vegan grocery items. It’s a little expensive since it’s in downtown Van but there’s lots of options.
Read moreEverything was well labelled in the deli, and hot and cold bars. I grabbed some spanakopita, chimichuri potatoes, roasted cauliflower, and a couple salads.
TBH most of it was flavourless, and the spanakopita had a weird taste. Everything lacked salt. Kind of disappointed but every WFM is different when it comes to the self-serve. This was just my experience on this day.
This place also had a nice outdoor seating area and a heated patio facing the street.
Pros: Lots of grocery options, Cute seating area
Cons: Flavourless/weird flavours take out items

Decent Location - Edit
The general selection was okay, and while it was not a vegan haven, there were options. There were veg “deli” items, proteins, milks, baked goods, cheeses, snacks, frozen goods, etc. Not the best Whole Foods, but also not the worst.
Read moreHowever, for my purpose of wanting to try vegan brands that are not available where I live, this location did not disappoint. Worth the visit.

I like a lot of the items in wholefoods, they have plenty of vegan foods. I wish there everything bagel was vegan but I think it has honey powder.

Good selection of vegan products - Edit
Whole Foods on Robson is smaller than the one on Cambie, but it has a good selection of vegan products: a wide choice of vegan milk, vegan meat, vegan frozen dinners... even a to-die-for vegan cupcake, a mouthwatering vegan mousse cake and vegan pudding. Not to mention vegan marshmallows and Daiya products. Vegan ice cream is delicious, such as vegan take away food. Actually, you can do fantastic vegan shopping here! Vegan supplements, body care products and protein powders are a plus.

Good city location - Edit
Bit small being right in downtown Vancouver but it's well-stocked just the same. Perfect stop to get a kombucha on the way back from your day trip to Stanley Park.

Capers Community Market - Edit
This is actually a Whole Foods disguised as a Capers Community Market. It's a great place to stop and get some vegan snacks while traveling. They had several house-made baked goods - the Laura's vegan chocolate cookie was recommended by the staff, it was worth getting it.
