Fine dining meets veganism - Edit
I left a couple of 5 stars already in Athens, but I somehow regret it because I can’t rate Winners Vegan higher than that now.
Read moreIn a superb atmosphere in a vibrant area of Athens you will find this lovely restaurant with a menu you have probably never seen before.
Without added salt or sugar, often gluten free and always vegan, you will find breathtaking dishes, looking as good as they taste delicious.
This is one of those places where you know you have to slow down your chewing: enjoy the fresh ingredients, taste the mix of flavours, share your opinion with your friend(s).
Often vegan food is only synonym of burgers and fries, or st least fast food. It is not the case here and it feels very refreshing. It is also a perfect example that vegan food is not just for vegans and that you animal ingredients are not required to make a meal both scrumptious and healthy.
If you like to be pleasantly surprised, definitely got there.

Caveat: We only went once. But everything was way overpriced for what you received. 14 euros for a bowl of noodles covered in an albeit delicious coconut sauce, but with nary a veggie or protein in sight -- ohi efharisto. The smash burger was delicious, but again overpriced, with a side of chunked undercooked sweet potatoes. There are *plenty* of other better choices in Athens for vegan food that is affordable and filling. If you only have a few days here, I'd skip Winners.

The restaurant is part of an all vegan hotel and sells itself as being fine dining. However, the food wasn't exceptional for the price. We did enjoy it (we had the indonesian bowl and the insane banana curry) but neither of us felt amazed by the offerings. The meringue dessert with lemon curd was the stand out dish and the cocktails and dragon milk were a bit different and very tasty.
Read moreWe also tried to order a pasta dish which we were told they couldn't make because pumpkin is out of season, which made us wonder why they hadn't put another seasonal pasta on the menu instead!
Overall, it was a beautiful restaurant, with very attentive and friendly staff and nice, fresh vegan food. However, we probably wouldn't go back based on the price and the offerings of some of the other vegan restaurants in Athens.

Best Meal in Greece! - Edit
My wife and I went here for the last night of our honeymoon, and the food was absolutely incredible!!! The menu had so many great options to choose from, and the drinks were fun too and also all vegan! We stayed at the Niki Hotel Athens (Winners is the hotel restaurant) and had breakfast from the restaurant the next day, which was also incredible!

We stayed at the lovely hotel for a week and ate breakfast every morning which was included in the prize which was great. The breakfast bowls were a bit borring compared to other places in Athens. The greek coconut yoghurt had a good taste though but I missed some more fruit and granola on top. Their breakfast sweet potato brownie was too dry unfurtunately. The blueberry pancages and mushroom toast dish were great! We were both in love with their vegan cheeses.

The menu had a lot of vegan options to choose from but many of them were with tofu which I found uninspiring and not ideal for someone with a soy allergy. The meals were colourful and very filling. The burger was good with a great spicey dressing on the side but the rice and chickpee tempeh meal was bland and lacked some spices. The golden milk I had was cold and it said “hot” on the menu. They could very well have a few traditional greek meals on the menu as well.

That’s a nice place part of a full vegan hotel, which is very nice. The food is really beautiful, everything is perfect for the eyes.

Does the price means quality? I’d say yes, it’s was very good, organic and seasonal product only.
But with that kind of price (we’re talking between 14€ and 18€ for a plate), I want to have something original, something that I’ve never ate or not in that way. I don’t want a well-done bowl.
And we had pretty good and beautiful bowl. Not even one dish on the menu is Greek food which is a pity.
In Athens you can be full with food for 3.5€ and here you’ll be full too, it’d be beautiful but for 18€ and without any originality.
The cocktail are pretty good and beautiful too but… 14€ (again) for one small cocktail.
I don’t recommend to go there because of the price.

Wir sind durch und durch Veganer und hatten uns sehr gefreut dieses Hotel inkl Restaurant entdeckt zu haben. Es gibt grundsätzlich auch nicht viel zu meckern. Der Service war aufmerksam und super freundlich. Wir haben uns wirklich wohl gefühlt und lecker gegessen. Etwas irritierend war, dass zum Frühstück Eier und Speck angeboten wurden und dass einige Drinks auf der Karte nicht als nicht Vegan gekennzeichnet sind….

Best place I found in Athens - Edit
The food was incredible but experience was even better. The staff were so amazing and nice and cool. When I left I felt like they were my new best friends. I had the soup of the day (pumpkin and peanut butter) and a chocolate brownie desert. I also had rose wine and a cocktail suggested to me. Everything is organic and great quality.
